Customer service over the phone is nonexistent. Exactly no way to file a complaint by phone. Everything redirects you to nowhere useful no matter what you say.
Lost my card in the store. Attempted to call the store to ask about my card. Got redirected to national/international line. Got asked if I wanted to know store hours. Got asked if I had a membership. Got asked what I was calling about. Given a list of options irrespective of my answer. Can't bypass to speak to a manager or supervisor. Pick an option to hopefully speak to someone. Get asked again what I'm calling about. Get no solid answer or way to contact the store. Get hung up on. Repeat eight times.
I understand it was after the store's shortened hours. That's why I lost my card in the first place; because I thought it fell as I checked the time in my phone, but didn't want to impose any more than I already had as I walked in with four minutes to close because I didn't look at their hours. I got home ten minutes after they closed, looked for my card hoping I was mistaken, bit it was gone. I tried to call, see above.
I was repeatedly told that I was being redirected because team members were specialized by department. First of all, I wasn't speaking to a team member on the floor, as all language would have you assume. Secondly, according to a lot of former and a good few current team member anecdotes, due to massive layoffs, many stores have been running skeleton crews, with team members regularly having to cover multiple departments. While that does explain the shifting of call volumes, it does not excuse the fact that the language of the call lines does not mention this situation, nor do any physical notices in or...

Staff 1 said: That TV w/ refresh rate 60hz WILL not support Netflix, almost everyone who bought TV with refresh rate 60hz returns it because they are not happy with it. (showing blurry image on google image) this is what you will get. TVs that are 10+ years older are better than any TV w/ 60Hz refresh rate. He went on and on even after I thanked him for his "help" and that I will ask for his help if I need.
Staff 2 said, do you have a surge protector? yes. how old? two years. Is it high-end? what do you mean? You need to have a high-end surge protector, since your TV is big, otherwise the thunder storm will destroy your TV. I should have asked what his definition of "high-end" was.
Hey homies, netflix contents have 30-60hz refresh rate. I ended up buying the LG UHD 4K 55 8000 series at another store for $600.
The first dude has the Dunning-Kruger effect. Oh, so much confidence! Don't be so condescending, man. You just ruin someone's buying experience and get a bad review. Well, you also wouldn't care about a bad review anyway, so what does it matter?
To make the buying experience better, this best buy location could make sure their employees at TV stations have some understanding of the products they try to sell and not be offensive. Actually, just letting me buy the stuff that I want to buy without telling me I will regret for sure, or I get what I pay for, or I don't know what I am doing, and stuff like...
Read moreThis is a Best Buy store, but the worst in the Pittsburgh area. I've given it multiple chances, but it really seems like the employees here are miserable and aren't afraid to show it anymore.
Me and my friend were the only people checking out with 1 small item each. The lady checking us out just had to stop what she was doing to yell at another employee that she's "GOT A LINE HERE", as if there were 100 of us waiting in line. It was pretty uncomfortable sitting there waiting for my item to be checked out as she berates the other employee for "talking too much to help me". I get you don't like working here, but don't make the customers hate shopping here too.
Not to mention they are never consistent with their trade-in prices for phones. Early last year I walked in wanting to trade in my Samsung S20, with a ~$350 trade in value, for a Pixel. The employee working the mobile department (which was the same lady that checked the 2 of us out the other day) kept getting me a far less trade in value for my Samsung than what the website promised. She would not budge either when I showed the websites trade-in value, while giving me an attitude, as if I was wasting her time. I just left and went to the South Hills location, where they were much more helpful and gave me the proper trade in credit without hassle.
TL;DR, avoid...
