This was the worst experience I have ever had. This place is not cheap, but they act very cheap. The afternoon that we walked in we were impressed with the view. We began walking around the place to find all the rooms. Then I asked my wife, “where is the bedroom?” She couldn’t find it either! In fact there was not one. It was a pull out bed! What the.... the second bed was also a pull out. So there were 2 pull out beds in the living room. Not good. The actual mattress was cheap and hard. You could feel the coils in the bed. And I know about mattress’ because I sell them for a living. I slept on better bed when I was 6. I sleep in a lot of hotels and I wish we would have got a smaller hotel, I would have paid more for a hotel. The worst part about this was place was the A/C. We were there in August so it was hot. When I am on vacation, I like to keep my room cool, so that I can relax. This seems natural. So when we walked in and it was 78 degrees in the room I naturally turned it down. The thermostat however did not work. So I went to maintenance. He however informed me that the guests are not allowed to control their thermostat. We could not sleep it was so hot in our room. We had to buy a fan for the room to even stay in it. Several other reviews said the A/C was broken...it’s not broken they just don’t let you turn it down...terrible for a vacation condo. I guess the care more about saving their money than the guests experience. The next complaint is that they are just cheap. Their are signs on all windows and doors saying not to leave them open when the A/C is running. Their are signs that say if you get makeup on a towel they will charge you extra money. Just weird stuff like that. A less important complaint is that the place is just run down and old. And there is nothing to do around the place. The FT Laud beach is much better. Another complaint is the WiFi. They don’t have modern TVs and they are small and you can only watch TV on the pull out couch. Therefore we tried to watch Netflix on our computer. This was good except the WiFi didn’t really work. We couldnt watch it because of how bad the WiFi was. There were a lot of things to complain about. These are the ones that bothered us the most on our vacation. Please look elsewhere if you are looking for a nice place where you can relax and get food customer service. If I could give this a lower rating I would

We were initially quite disappointed because we were not in the high-rise that faces the beach. Instead we were in their motel-like units across the street. Beyond that, a welcome packet would have been nice. That being said, it's a short walk to the beach directly in front of the high-rise across a bridge. Our unit was a studio with a fold-down bed. Stove top for cooking, no oven, which was fine. Rooms were clean enough. Water pressure and shower were good. Fridge has duct tape to hold the door shelves on, and that makes the shelves work. On Wednesday, they had to shut the water off to service another unit and on Wednesday night, there was no hot water. They had hot water restored by Thursday afternoon. No issues with these events, but it was just odd that things happened like they did. There is a pool on each side of the street and both are well maintained. Beach chairs and towels are available at the service desk (no charge) and everyone at the desk was helpful. There are plenty of restaurants close by and one restaurant is within short walking distance. If you're looking for a basic place to stay and want to hang out a lot at the beach, this could be a good option for you!

Very disappointing and bad customer service. My experience was not what I was looking forward on my vacation. It took us over an hour to register at the front desk, when we arrived there were people that said to be waiting for more than an hour already to get a room. Once we had the keys it took 3 trips from the room to the front desk to get into the room because the keys didn't work. On the second day they shot the AC (on purpose) on our floor to fix other room's and didn't said anything to us. When I call the front desk and I was told that nothing couldn't be done until the following day, next day we find out at 6 P.M. that will not be turned on so we have to move to another room. The hotel it is in a good location has 2 buildings one on the beach side but you have to take an short bridge to get to the beach and another on the other side of the road. At this time the " club house " was closed due to Covid 19. We had a studio, the room was clean but small and the bed was a pull down from the wall with most uncomfortable mattress I slept in my life. I will not comeback to this property again.

I’m giving this hotel 2 stars because although it was dated, small and unconventional it was very clean. We stayed in room 1001 which is across the street, and quite a hike to the beach may I add. Which is equipped with absolutely nothing no beach chairs, umbrellas and we couldn’t even find beach towels to sit on. We walked up the beach to pay for a cabana elsewhere. We made our way to our room which had no patio furniture like the other suites. Which is probably because the door was located directly behind the staircase and there was no view. We entered the room and as expected it was trapped in the 70s with a bed that came down from the wall to prove it. Still hopefully, we settled in for the night. The bed was rock hard. We called Daniel at the front desk and asked if there were any upgrades available, thinking someone might be checking out the following day. There was nothing available. I woke up the next day my back kinked and my legs were actually numb, I should note I’m 22 weeks pregnant. We ended up checking out which was 7 days early. We paid to stay at a hotel up the street rather than use our timeshare points that’s how terrible it was. My husband went to the front desk to let the woman know we were checking out early. She asked the room number and told us to drop the key in the box. Didn’t ask us why or how they could rectify the issue. Another thing I found odd was the disclaimer posted on the mirror in the bathroom. Basically stating you would be charged for stained towels including but not limited to make up, hair dye, dirt, shoe polish and beach tar.. as this would cause their maintenance fee to go up to replace towels and linens. Which is the most bizarre thing I’ve ever seen in a hotel. This is a great hotel for college students on summer break who don’t care where they’re staying but for 2 grown adults it’s unacceptable. I’m shocked and in awe that this hotel is even affiliated with RCI Timeshares. Also your linens that you don’t want to pay to replace were discolored probably from the numerous washes it’s been through and or bleach used to salvage guests stains. Disappointed to...

Stayed for a week. Great place. Nothing fancy, but not a slob place. Had a broken dresser drawer that hit my kids head, but she was being crazy and it wasn't serious by any means. It was mentioned to staff and it was promptly fixed and followed by a call from management checking on her and apologizing. Nothing serous happened and my kid was just the right height, but I appreciated the response.

Stayed in the 1 bed king. Everything was clean and the views were great. We were a short walk from the beach and a short drive to everything you would need.

The housekeeping process is one that I haven't experienced, but I think it's an efficient idea. House keeping comes by and swaps out towels for you. You trade on a one to one basis with them or at the linen exchange, that way they keep costs reasonable for them and can account for everything.

Beach towels are based on coins. You get two per person upon arrival and you provide them at the linen exchange for beach towels. If you don't come back with a beach towel or the coin at the end of your stay, you're charged. Linens are traded the same way as room towels, and you change your own bed.

Figure it's worth mentioning because they don't come by and change your sheets for you until you leave. Wasn't a problem to me as I figure I'm there all week and can change my sheets, but if you prefer a normal hotel style service be aware. Staff was really friendly though, and prompt on any request or question we had.

All said I'd recommend the place and would stay again. We had so much to do besides the beach and it's quite despite the...
