Misty Isles — Hotel in Redington Shores

Misty Isles is a joke! And so if the posting in the room to contact Brandon Tecklenburg is you have any feedback. We contacted Brandon for a refund as the bed was not sleepable as it sagged 8 inches in the middle of the bed and Brandon was not helpful in any way and offered ZERO refund. We spent $500 on this room for 2 nights stay and had to find another place to stay since the bed was not something a dog would even sleep in. We left and went somewhere else so this was an expensive learning experience. Like other posts and reviews beware, this place is advertised as beach front rooms, only the upper and lower room in the main building are beach front rooms everything else is not a beach front room however you can see parts of the beach from some rooms if you walk outside down hall way or sidewalk but you can also be 2 blocks away and see sand. If you want to be beach front go somewhere else and don’t fall for the fake bookings descriptions as it again only applies to 2 rooms. Save your money and go someplace else. PS a picture is posted of the bed in the room, note it literally sags 8 inches in the middle of the bed and Brandon didn’t help or give a care about addressing the issue. renting these rooms for my family vacation was the worst decision ive ever made. as soon as we arrived we noticed that the "beach view" we were advertised was not true and from both sides of the apartments we only had a view of the parking spaces, all the appliances were old and breaking, there was no light in the patio so we couldn't do a barbecue or even sit outside after the sun set. the only way outside to the patio from the apartment was to go through the only bathroom and cross into the patio through a door that is the only way to get there. one of the pullout couches was broken and my daughter had to sleep on it, the other pullout couch had a mattress so thin that my son could feel the bars and springs through it. my sister was taking a shower and slipped because of the shower curtain being so long and injured herself. for the 2 days we were there maintenance people were fixing things in both houses. we cut our trip short and left 2 days early because it was...

When I first walked in I was disappointed. The sleeper sofa was filthy and broken. We had to sleep on the very thin mattress on the floor. It wasn't clean and I was very upset for the money we spent. Management was very understanding and helpful they changed out the furniture and bought us a brand new air mattress. The sleeping accommodations and furniture are the OWNER'S responsibility, not management. Location was great for beach access but nothing else. I was traveling with parents that cannot make long walks like myself. We had to Uber or use trolley everywhere. Misty Isles is okay if ALL you do is beach.
