Really glad I rolled the dice on this one. Needed a place to shower and sleep that was away from home since we had family in town. Just a simple quiet place to get away. This checked all the boxes. The woman who checked us in was friendly and our process was quick. Once we entered the room, we found exactly what we expected, and even some throwbacks we didn't. Clean room, lots of colors, everything you need to stay there and enjoy yourself, and most importantly a bed to crash out on. They have plates, bowls, utensils and a microwave; none of which we needed for this stay. A fridge that we did use and just enough parking to ensure we had a spot daily. Our front patio had two chairs, which provides a relaxing view of all the chaos that is tourist town. The room was cold and the access in and out worked great. It really is simple, you want a place to hang out all day and do stuff, pay more and stay up the strip. You want a place to get away and hang out in all day, several great options down the road for that. You what a place that won't break the bank account, shower, sleep and even make some dinner; this place does that. We will be back when we get overrun again. Checkout was painless as well.

These people are the Strangest idiots. They should be shut down. The office stink like unbathed old people. The woman looked to the rude, dirty, unwelcoming old man like she didn't know how to speak. She Seemed lost like she had never Checked a guest in. The 'Owner' walked into our room unannounced, with his own key TWICE while I was alone & undressed. This place hands down has been the worst & most embarrassing hotel/motel experience ever. I was told I stole their time, was trespassed by the local Police & Publicly Humiliated. To top off this experience the rules at this roach motel (which are STRICTLY enforced & repeated to you like a broken record) are for lack of better word sadly Absurd. like previous reviews I too did not get back my deposit, But I did not leave empty handed...

An awesome throw back motel to nostalgic independent beach town motels that used to dot every shoreline. We were greeted by a grateful smiling face, rather than a sour corporate clock jockey. The room was exceptionally clean and super cute and cozie! We were here to watch the sunset as we started our day on the eastcoast in Cocoa Beach to watch it rise we then drove across our beautiful state to watch it set in the same day. We were not going to stay but decided to just make an evening out of it. We found this hidden gem on Google and it did not dissapoint, the sunset was perfect too! We will be back to stay here again!

My girlfriend and I planned for an overnight to Madeira Beach staying at this hotel for a quick getaway. It’s in a great location hence the 2 stars. Upon checking in I signed my prepaid credit card slip and the owner then informed me that there is a $20 deposit which you get back when checking out. I asked deposit for what, I have never in my 52 years had to give a deposit at a hotel. She said she only accepts cash and I will have to go to an ATM. WOW. I ran down the street to a bar that had an ATM. The room was clean and quite unassuming. No phone in the room, not a big deal.

After a day at the beach, we got ready fo me dinner. After dinner we decided to head down to the beach and just sit and enjoy each other’s company. We came back to the room, put some music on and sat down on the balcony. We decided to keep the room door open while we sat outside. It was a beautiful night, AC was not running.

After an hour or so out of nowhere the owner appeared on the stairs telling us to shut the door because the AC was running, which it wasn’t. My girlfriend got up and shut the door. Then the owner stated that he better not see that door left open. What??!!! Who talks to people like that, I let him have it verbally quite frankly we were in shock for being talked to like that. I told the owner we would not be coming back, he said he didn’t want us back. We were flabbergasted to say the least.

You have to check out by 10am and I rang the buzzer to the office door to check out. The owner answered the door and I asked for the $20 back. He said one minute, told me to step outside and that he would be back in a minute. He then went to the room we rented for the evening, my best guess is to evaluate how we left it. We even brought out any trash from the prior evening. He gave me the $20 back and I promptly left.

Do yourself a big favor, don’t stay at this hotel. Beyond the...

Returning for the second time to this charming motel has only deepened our appreciation for its nostalgic allure. The quaintness of this establishment is like a breath of fresh air, offering a retreat from the hustle and bustle of larger, corporate resorts.

The rooms are not just clean; they are fresh and that adds to the overall comfort of your stay. The linens are crisp, the floors are clean, the bathroom is immaculate and every piece of furniture seems to have been carefully chosen to make this room even more charming.

The proximity to the beach is a definite highlight, making it a breeze to enjoy the sun, sand, and surf with just a short walk.

Parking is tight and can be a challenge if you are in one of the rooms facing the road and have a larger vehicle. We had to squeeze into our space because the guests in the room next to us parked over the line.

What truly sets this motel apart is its status as a small, family-owned property. The personal touches you will experience will definitely bring up some nostalgia. It's a refreshing departure from the impersonal nature of larger resorts, and for those who value a more intimate and authentic experience, this is the place to be.

Choosing to stay here is a deliberate choice to support a local business and embrace the unique charm of a family-owned establishment. While it might not be the right fit for everyone, for those seeking a genuine and cozy atmosphere, this small motel is an absolute gem. We look forward to returning for many more visits, savoring the simplicity, warmth, and charm that make this place so special....

After only staying for 15 minutes we returned to our car to find a large key mark down the side. The room was filthy with thick layers of dust caked on to all of the blinds. The door does not seal properly with obvious problems with the way it was mounted. This makes it easy for bugs to come in as well as water. The staff was by no means kind. There were no smiles with the lists of rules they enforce on threat of additional fees. All "guests" must pay a minimum $20 CASH deposit and is only refunded once the staff has done a walk through. All tenants also receive a 9:30am knock at the door to remind them of check out. I'm not sure what kind of squatters they normally get at this hotel but I have never had to have a reminder of my check out nor have I ever had to pay a cash deposit for a room. I'm sure that the owners will post something nasty as a response to this honest review (as they have done to others) but this is my true account of my experience with this hotel and the staff.

PS watch out for the wifi as they do not seem to be very tech savvy, you are at risk for having others on the network monitoring your traffic.

Update: Big surprise they posted a nasty response to our review... but hey a picture is worth 1000 words. Check out the filth of this place for yourself.

Looking forward to the day the health department shuts...
