No stars would be left if I could. Where to start let's see. . . So I check in and there's no one at the front desk. A little girl dressed in very casual attire comes out of a back room looking absolutely sheepish and walks behind the desk. Doesn't really greet me and looks terrified. I had booked online and there wasn't anywhere to let them know I had dogs so I offered to pay cash. She said it was okay. She gives me the key and then just starts speaking in another language, well she's on her phone and it's on speaker. On my way up I noticed the horrid carpets that looked like they haven't been vacuumed in probably weeks. There were spots that were worn out and had holes. So I can't get into my room and the door is jammed. I go get the girl and again, not at the front desk. I had to open the front door to make the welcome alarm go off. I told her my door was jammed so she walks up there with me and had to break into the room. Instead of offering me another room she just says "there you go". So I thought it just gets jammed once in awhile. So I go into the room and settle in. I was tired from driving so I just got into bed right away. I ordered a pizza and had it delivered and had to "break out of my room" to get the pizza. What.... So I just figured "whatever" I'm only there for the night. I started noticing little things that were a little weird as I'm eating. Exposed outlets with no covers The bed skirt was stained and obviously not changed in between guests. (The sheets looked and smelled clean so there's that at least) There was a spot on the carpet that looked like a blood stain All the lamps were unplugged The phone was unplugged and stuck in the dresser drawer There wasn't an ice bucket in the room No pad of paper and no pen. Maybe they forgot? Every hotel I've ever stayed had this.
The next morning I hop in the shower for my dad's surgery and I get out.... no BATH TOWELS! Seriously?! I had to dry off with a hand towel. Not to mention as I'm showering the water went cold when the room next door started their shower. I could tell when they adjusted the temperature and I'm sure they could tell when I did. Breakfast was NOT continental. Everything was old and stale and expired. The syrup was empty and the juice machine was absolutely disgusting. I don't think anyone has cleaned that room or the breakfast area in days. I ended up getting mcdonald's breakfast. So this sketchy hotel has me not trusting this place so I pack everything up as I head to the hospital and let my dogs nap until checkout. I find out the surgery is going to be longer than expected so I called the hotel to see if I could do a late checkout or pay a partial stay fee so my dogs had somewhere to stay. She said I could have an extra hour. She seemed like she wasn't understanding anything I was saying to her because she wasn't even answering my questions. Eventually the conversation got heated and she was legitimately arguing with me and laughing at me so I got angry and started telling her about all my issues. She blamed me and said it was my fault that I didn't say anything from the get-go and as they happened. She was so disrespectful I asked for the manager and she "claimed" she was. She clearly wasn't because she was too young to have a degree in hospitality which by looking at this place, it definitely was being run illegally in so many ways. She said she would call the owner and ask for me and I could call her back in 20 minutes. I didn't understand why she couldn't call me back. This place was so weird and they obviously have no idea how to run a hotel and do not care at all about their guests. You don't argue with your guests, and when you disrespect them, someone higher up than you typically gives you a refund for your stay after the horrible time you've had. She even laughed at me a few times when I asked her to stop interrupting me and that she was being extremely rude. They need to...
Read moreI called to reserve a room telling them u would be there before 6. They called me twice before 4 o'clock, second time telling me they had only 1 room left and I needed to come pay. Clearly they were lying, they weren't even half full. When I got to my room the damn door wouldn't even shut. Instead of giving me a different room he pulls upward on door handle, pulling up whole door, to latch it. The metal pieces that retract that go inside of door latch, I myself could see. So now every time I go in or out I have to take both hands and use a decent amount of strength to shut the door. I stayed 1 day, 2 nights, in that room and asked for a different room. It was 1:30am and said I needed to be outta the broken door room and into the other one by 5am or I'll be charged for both. Told my bf that house keeping needs to clean the room. I called the front desk asking him to repeat what he just told him. Mind u, I have, basically, a studio apartment, full one mind u, that I'm moving every time. To make this short, I got myself 3 extra hrs, until 8am. In the middle of moving the stuff by myself from the first floor to the second floor with no elevators they call my room and asked me if I could switch to another room because someone complained about the noise. Oh you mean the noise of the door opening and closing early in the morning because you guys are the ones you told me to? Clearly I said no. Then after all that moving I'm laying in the bed exhausted and sweaty they call my room. Apparently their phone is broken also a mess other room because they could not hear me through the phone but I can hear that. So they called about five times so I called from my cell phone. The guy informs me that he needs to switch my room because the maintenance guy needs to come in the room and fix something. I asked him what it was because the heat, tv, lights and water all worked. He told me that he did not know that the maintenance guy just called him and told him he needed to fix something in this room. That's a little funny considering the maintenance people only fix what they are told is broken. I caught him and his own lie. It's pretty funny considering the fact that one major security to our rooms is the door and they did NOT seem to have a problem with that but but now they do with something they don't even know what it is. After reading other reviews I decided to edit mine and add that the 2 rooms I stayed in were in much better condition then what was mentioned. Very clean, no smell, besides the people smoking cigarettes in their room on the first floor. U can smell it in the hallway. And if the manager's owners read this review hopefully they will know better to move the damn people who keep complaining about the noise of a door shutting because I'm not playing any music I'm watching TV laying in my bed there are always going to be those annoying neighbors that want to call somebody and complain about every little thing so maybe those people should be the ones moved especially to a completely different floor that way there will be no problems caused because I'm not going to...
Read moreHorrible experience!!!! Was in the area for a job and had planned to stay one night but ended up having to stay an extra night. 1st night went well, front desk agent - whom told us her and her husband owned the property- came across as 100% guest services, the customer comes first type attitude. The room we got was not bad for the price. Checked out and since we had to stay in the area for one more day we decided to head back and stay another night with hopes of getting the same room. Same lady at the front desk the room we had the night before had not been cleaned so we could not get the same room. The new room we got was handicap excusable so a lot of unnecessary stuff for us that just tool up space. Three different holes in the walls and needed to be painted or walls washed down. Night stands and table all had to be wiped down. What appeared to be stains on sink countertop all came off with a little soap and water. Refrigerator needed to be wiped out and mold was building up on the seal of the refrigerator. The top comforter had a stain on it - never use this blanket at anyplace because after working 7 years at a well know resort i know these are only washed every few months-. Over looked all these things as they came up because I was able to clean it myself, was late and just wanted to relax and go to sleep. Got up early in the morning to use the bathroom and was sicked to find what look like feces on the toilet paper. I told my boyfriend I was done and wanted to check out or get a different room. The front desk agent - same lady- was so rude!!!!. We checked in late around 11pm went to front desk about 3am. We told her of all the issues and about how the toilet paper was the breaking point. She told us she could not do anything for us that we should have called down right away to get a new room. I explained that we were over looking the cleanliness of the room and just wanted to get some sleep but we were discussed with what we found on the toilet paper as well as how dirty the toilet was. We did not know this until 3am when I 1st had to use the bathroom. She did not offer us a new room or offer us any of our money back, simply stated that it was our fault. After this she told us we could call and leave a voice mail for the manager that he would get back to us. - I was a little confused with that because the 1st night she stated her n her husband owned the property- We did so did not get a call back and when i tried to call the cell number again i found they had blocked my phone number. I would never stay here again or recommend anyone else to either. If you have any issues they turn a blind eye to it and you...
