Very disappointed. Let me share: My very first trip ever. I am a veteran and disabled ( I have been shot several times & missing part of left arm & paralyzed in left leg knee down plus more) and handicap parking spots are very limited. What's worse is when I pulled into valet to ask about more parking for handicap & it was explained that if I were a players club member I could get valet parking comped because all disabled parking was full. Thought this was great until the valet guy looked at me ( now I'm in my early 50's) as I'm sitting in my car he says to me "are you disabled because it doesn't look like it to me, so I'll need some kind of proof from you that your are..." I said " do you think I would be asking about handicap parking if I weren't?
As he totally passed judgement demanding proof of my disabilities, he was so accusatorial demanding proof and having blinders on - He didn't even take the time to see I had my disabled parking placard laying rite there on the dashboard. In close to 25 years since I was injured, not 1 time has anyone or any place ever asked me to provide some proof of my disabilities to park in handicap or anything even related to it. After he explained that it would be comped when I leave since the handicap parking was full, that should have been it. Not leading into what he perceives or his judgements from me just sitting in my car and because I am younger and don't look disabled was out rite demeaning to me , and embarrassed me in front of other customers and workers in the area that could hear this & it has bothered me causing anxiety and distress making me feel worthless. ( Maybe I'm beating my self up too much from this, but I am just so upset over it feeling labeled, because I try so hard to live my life to the fullest in my condition ) People have all types of disabilities, some not so obvious than others and no one has the rite to question anyone inquiring about parking for disabled, asking them what there disability is and to prove it . I called and spoke to someone from Hard rock who stated they were starting a case number to the incident. No one has called back from that location and I was told I would be emailed the escalation complaint with the case number and contact and never got the email promised- nothing.
Starting to feel like they gave me a random person in the organization and after that - who cares basically. It may not be something important to them, but it is to me as well as seeing that this never happens to anyone else disabled and it's corrected. I left feeling discriminated against, upset , humiliated and shocked. But maybe because it was my first time and I am not a Super Platinum member I don't matter But I sure will BET if I were a high roller at this location or as a high roller at their multiple locations who bet hundreds of thousands or millions, this would have been handled by them at the speed of light guaranteed... But it seems since I am not, that fixing the issue of discriminating veterans who are also disabled & disabled people in general at there locations isn't high on their priority list when your not a high roller. So I'll keep you updated on how long this takes to get handled or if it ever does... I'm doubtful at this moment it will be,...

Went for my first time tonight and won't be back. First impression was awful. While the initial greeter was friendly, I was ID'd at the door. I'm 29 with facial hair and weigh over 200lbs but sure, no problem yet. The guy doesn't even look at my ID but drops it in this shoddy machine that, I assume, is checking it for him. All well and good still, until that machine doesn't work. I sit there for a couple minutes while he just keeps trying the same thing, until I suggest "Do you want to run a blacklight and maybe just check the date with your eyes or something?" He just says no, with no explanation, and eventually miraculously gets his little machine to work. The friendly greeter next to him is apologetic, but useless scanner boy says just one more thing "what is your zip code?" I pause and stare at him in disbelief. What was the purpose of this whole dog and pony show just to still do college-liquor-store-type verification checks? I swallow my frustration and slowly give him the 5 digits, then finally I am inside after 5 minutes.
Video poker is in a back corner separated off from the other slots, many machines in service, at least 20+, but on a Thursday night there were only two being used, I'll assume due to the 25c minimum on almost all machines, making a basic three-play game at max bet $7.5 on Ultimate X... not even a top property in Vegas like Wynn has all their VP minimums starting this high. Might make sense to offer a 10c option on all machines/games. Lower denomination business is better than no business. When the games start to fill up go ahead and jack your denominations to whatever you want. Until then, you just look foolish.
Oh well, decided I would check out the tables. I get that they are limited on space and only have room for about 10 tables, but once again the idiocy of management has a single blackjack table open at $25, with legitimately a line of people waiting to sit at it, and all other tables just closed at 11pm on a Thursday for no clear reason. Are you that understaffed? If yes, that is horrific and would be the most understaffed casino I've ever seen, but honestly it would actually justify raising the minimum from $25 to either $50 or $100 to thin the crowd and garner more revenue... but of course not. If something makes sense, a poorly managed regional casino won't do it.
I actually won a bit on video poker and still just feel off about this place. The 2 star is because the place felt pretty clean. Recommendation: Fire and replace anybody that is presently even tangentially associated with...
Read moreMy sisters and I traveled from Milwaukee to enjoy an evening of dinner and gambling. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet my expectations, especially as it was my first time at the casino. I will admit that the casino itself is very clean and visually appealing. However, I received a FaceTime call and was informed by security that there is a no FaceTime policy. This was a first for me; I have never been told that at a casino, especially when I wasn't gaming at a table or sitting at a machine.
After playing, we decided to dine at the restaurant. Both of my sisters had dining comps. When we placed our order, we asked the hostess about the exact amount of the comp so that we could plan our meal accordingly. Cassidy, the hostess, claimed we did not have a comp, but we knew this wasn’t true. Her host had already informed her that a dining comp would be added to her account for the month.
My sister then went to the players' club booth to speak with a host. The host reiterated that they were unable to see any comp but didn't seem interested in listening to my sister's explanation. Eventually, my sister asked to speak to a manager, who came out and found the comp immediately.
Upon returning to the restaurant, we finally placed our order. I requested a Messi chicken sandwich without cheese, with the sauce on the side, and requested pickles to be added. I also asked if we could have bone-in traditional buffalo wings fried extra crisp as an appetizer. Our waitress, Hannah, said no. Unsure if she was joking, I asked again if they could fry the wings longer, but she repeated that they could not.
When we received the wings, they were uncooked. We asked Hannah to send them back, explaining that we like our wings fried extra crispy. At this point, I decided not to have them remake my chicken sandwich because I was already frustrated. The waitress seemed upset when she had to correct the mistakes that were clearly made on her part.
The strawberry lemonade was overpriced, containing too much ice and basil, which left me feeling like my drink was gone after just a few sips. For dessert, one of my sisters ordered the caramel apple pie, but it came out without any caramel. We asked Hannah to bring a side of caramel. To top it off, there were no utensils in the to-go bag, leaving us with no way to eat our dessert.
Overall, my impression of the casino is that the entire staff could be friendlier. Customer service is not a strong point at the Hard...
