I’ve stayed here several times which the price is great for a brand new hotel, but it’s sad that this hotel is already bringing in bad people who smell like marijuana, they sit in the hallways on their phones with loud videos or phone calls, they’re outside in their cars to either drink or sleep, they’re so loud throughout the hotel which the walls are very thin so you can hear everything. They cook some stinky food which travels down the halls and into the other rooms. I’ve had someone else’s body hairs in the shower/bathroom which is disgusting and I woke up at 4 am to a German cockroach crawling on me. I’m really not trying to complain, but with a good pest control and hiring professional cleaners I do believe this hotel will turn around in no time. Also get rid of the bad people who stay here or it’s gonna be a ghetto hotel soon enough which will be sad for this area. Thanks to Connie which she’s the BEST and some other people at the front desk for being so sweet and helpful while I was staying here. I’ll definitely come back here to stay, but I’ll probably stay on a different floor next time. I complained about these 2 guys in their car the last night I was here and nothing was done about it which upset me. I was so scared with my granddaughter while grabbing my items out of my car because I could tell they were drunk. It made me very uncomfortable and my heart was racing. I wish they had security guards around here!!!

This was my first time staying at this hotel brand. I'm frequent at a residence inn is Homewood suites when it comes to long-term stays. Let me start by saying that this hotel is brand new. Everything was clean, functioning, and just nice. I guess I'm not used to a bare minimum extended stay type hotel, so I wasn't sure what to expect. First of, no soap. You need to buy or bring your own. Didn't think much of it, so that was fine. The rooms have a stove top and full fridge, so you'd think there'd be some utensils, cups, plates.... guess again.... nothing. But I did have a chopping board. Eneded up buying cooking pans, utensils, knifes, plates, cups all to just leave it there at the hotel. Great. Overall, it served its purpose as a nice extended stay place. It was very secure, which was nice, plus a decent location. The laundry center only takes quarters and the front desk didn't have enough change to cover the cost of a wash and dry cycle so that was an adventure to find quarters. Other than that, the ladies at the front desk were very nice and super helpful with recommendations. It would be nice to know before booking that this hotel doesn't offer any sort of cookware or basic essentials. I would stay at this brand again now having some experience.

Stayed a night here before our cruise. This was one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in. Everything was spotless, and the price was phenomenal for its location only 25-30 mins from the port. Check in was easy. There is a $50 security deposit that will be returned in a few days after your stay so prepare for that and it must be done on a physical debit or credit card at checkin time. Our air conditioner worked so well that we a rurally had to turn it down because we got cold. The only slight complaint that could be said is that the bed frame is very loud. The mattress I self is very comfortable, but just sitting on the bed or slightly adjusting how you were sleeping would make loud noise and shake the bed. But that is the only minor con I’ve found at this hotel. It comes with a full size fridge, stovetop, and a microwave. It is maybe 2 minutes from some fast food restaurants as well. I recommend booking this hotel and the staff were friendly

We booked this hotel since we were traveling from south Louisiana for my best friend's wedding in Cocoa. We chose this hotel because the location was great and it was cheaper than other options in the area. After our stay, I really think it would have been worth the price increase to stay elsewhere.

After driving 12+ hours, we arrived around 6:30pm on Wednesday night. The concierge, that evening, Malik, appeared to be extremely under the influence. When my husband tried to check-in, Malik told him we did not have a reservation in the system, even though my husband could visibly see his reservation pulled up on the computer. My husband showed him our hotels.com confirmation email AND the message sent from Woodspring confirming our booking. He then proceeded to tell my husband that hotels.com must have overbooked because they did not have any available rooms. He left the desk for a hot minute and then returned to say there was a room, but it had not been cleaned and wasn't ready yet. Mind you, this was at nearly 7pm at this point. After almost 30 minutes, I walked into the lobby. My husband explained the situation, and I told Malik I didn't understand what the problem was because at first he said we didn't have a reservation at all, then he said the hotel overbooked and they had no rooms, but then there actually was a room but it hadn't been cleaned yet, even though check out is at 11am daily and this was at 7pm that night. He then replied, "Oh, actually, I just remembered, someone checked out this afternoon and I forgot to close out the room in the system." So after over half an hour of nonsense, he magically had a room available and ready. He then gave us our bill but my husband had to ask him for room keys because he didn't give us any. After all of that, I received a notification on our hotels.com that we had checked in. Wild considering we apparently "didn't have a reservation".

While the rooms were fine since this is a brand new hotel, we stayed here for 4 nights and our room was never once cleaned. We had to ask for towels daily and our trash cans were overflowing because they were never emptied. We also had to check a hairdryer out from the front desk because there are none in the rooms. The walls are also paper thin and we were kept away on more than one night by screaming children and guests slamming doors or beating walls in the middle of the night.

We travel to this area fairly often since our best friends live in the area, and while we normally stay at their house, I can assure you if we ever need a hotel in the area again, we will not be staying here. It is absolutely not worth the nearly $800 for 4 nights that we paid. I would not recommend this...

Unfortunately for me, I stayed at this place for 1 one night. It's like a prison trying to get in with multiple non automatic doors to get in that need lots of muscle and a key card. Even after you've successfully made it into the lobby (which is an unpleasant glass box) you still have to go through another heavy door that requires a key card to open. Very unwelcoming and feels more like you're trying to go visit someone in prison rather than a hotel. The smell is also off putting. For a hotel less than 7 months old, it seems foul smelling. When I finally made it to my room, I opened the door to see a room that resembled a hospice facility, only those are usually much nicer and have better lighting. The room lacked any warmth whatsoever. The mattress sat atop a wire rack with nothing to disguise this. Some photos on their website show a fabric dust ruffle or something to hide the fact that there is no box spring. The mattress itself was so hard and uncomfortable that there was no position I could contort myself into that made sleeping peacefully an option. The bright light coming from the parking lot blasts right through the cheap blinds as there are no curtains whatsoever. If you plan to stay here, know that you will see many people hanging around outside smoking, and it all feels sketchy. If you're looking for a place to spend a night, go to Viera where you'll find several much better options, or even just sleep in your car...you'll...

Booked a 7 night stay and paid the total at check-in with a promise a deposit would be refunded within 3 weeks. The refund never came, and upon reviewing the paperwork, the hotel had charged a late fee at the day of check-out and refunded it, and charged for an extra day. After a week of fighting for a one night refund I have been told we requested the extra day at check-in (not true), and it was relayed that the General Manager will not be refunding it because we requested the extra day. They checked video to show leaving on the check-out day, but nothing else. The managers do not return any calls. The staff that appeared to be helping were actually full of lies. Stating they bothered two different managers at home and my issue would be address the following day. Never happened. We actually wanted to shorten our stay at the time, but since we had paid ahead, we endured the uncomfortable bed. Customer service is absent, and fabrication of who added the extra night is our fault. So, even though it's a great location, beware as they will not help if they make an error. We did everything thing we could, but have been virtually slapped by management. They represent Choice hotels poorly. POST THEIR RESPONSE: They are cheats! They have no intention of looking into anything. Their response is bull crap! We did not change our checkout date. Based on other reviews - it's not the first time that someone wasn't checked out. It's...
