Super 8 by Wyndham Sacramento/Florin Rd — Hotel in Sacramento

BEWARE of junior the front desk guy. I called this hotel because they had a pool and I specifically asked about the pool it was and unplanned part of our trip because my husbands mom was in the hospital I told him we were looking for one with a pool to keep the boys entertained while my husband was at hospital. Everything sounded good so we went ahead and booked the room we got settled in late pool closed at 9 so we were all tired from our trip and we went to bed. In the morning we went to breakfast breakfast started at 6am we went there at 6:02am no one was there eating cereal was empty bear claws were old and dry we just ate waffles then headed out to pool to see what it looked like............it was small......as we got closer we noticed a sign hanging on gate. Pool was closed by the health department on June 29th well I was immediately not happy as I said they had a pool and that was the only reason we chose that hotel. I went into talk to the front desk guy he told me that they fixed the problem with pool they are just waiting for health department to come back and check it and that we could go in. I told him that the sign said it was in safe or in healthy. So I ended up calling the health department they said absolutely no do not go in the pool. So I went back to front desk and told him I wanted my money refunded. He then started in with an attitude telling me we got in to late to get in pool. I said yes I know but we planned on enjoying it today. He argued with me saying that we aren't staying another night so we cannot use the pool......dude we don't check out till 11:30! Anyways he then accused my son of breaking a bell......after already saying that the bell was broken. He then told me he was going to do paperwork and he walked away! In the middle of our conversation. I went back and I tried getting the number of his manager or getting him to call the manager he refused. I told the boys he wasn't worth our time and we went back to our room to pack. When my husband came back he rang the bell "that was broken" he then played word games with my husband about the pool saying we asked what the hours of their pool is not if it was shut down............WOW!!!!.......He told my husband my son broke the bell and he says it just rang when I pushed it. He then turned on his video on his phone and asked the guy again what did my son do? He then refused to talk and walked away to his office to do "paperwork " never again will we stay at ANY super 8 motel. We should have gone to the more expensive hotel without a pool. At least our room would have been clean........the elevator shook the whole building every time it was used, there were bugs all over I'm not sure what they were but they are in my pictures. Wanted to swim, but had to sweep the inside of the pool myself it was so dirty When I went into my room the air was not working properly, and neither was the Refrigerator, I called the front desk and someone came to fix things, but only got air to work better, had to call again about the fridge, a guy came and my daughter said the man claimed to have fixed it, which was not the case at all, I spoke to the man at the pool and he said he would be at my room in 30 mins to fix it, but he never did, everything I put in the fridge was wasted, the plumbing kept backing up in the toilet and the sink, the room was not clean properly at all, The T. V would not make a connection at all, So My daughter and I just had to sit at the end of beds with nothing to do, Finally morning, Went down to get breakfast, such a disappointment, the only had a couple of dry tools and bread that you could toast some cereal, coffee and only 1 kind of juice and it was apple juice, which I hate ..the rolls from vending machine was dry and stale , soda machine pushed for root beer, but cheap lemon lime came out and the sodas were not even cold . There was some sticky stuff on the floor at the head of one of the beds. Another person who stayed there was not happy with this hotel either. This place is Guettoville. Nasty and run down should have paid a couple of dollars more and gone down the street and could have enjoyed ourselves. The towels were mismatched and had holes in them and the bedspread also had burn holes. It used to be a nice hotel, but not the case. I contacted the place I booked the room through, and they said the hotel was not going to refund any of my money, but they would give me 35 dollars back through a link, but nobody ever did anything. big waste OF MONEY. IT COST ME MORE TO STAY HERE THAN IT EVER SHOULD HAVE. WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS DIVE TO ANYONE, NOT IF YOU SLIGHTLY EVEN LIKE THE PERSON...

I was locked out of my room.!!!!! It's 535 am. My husband is sleeping. Myself I'm pregnant (first trimester). Im restless ,and wide awake.So I head down to the front office to ask, "When does breakfast start?" The gentleman replies "6:30." Satisfied with answer I head back to my room. My key unfortunately must have demagnitised on my walk back to my room while next to my phone oor something. It wasn't working none the less. So in order to not wake my husband . I go to the front desk, " Same guy who answered my question about breakfast" (2 min prior). I explain my situation to him. He responds, "Is the room in my name?" "No the room is in my husband's name,"He immediately starts in on company policy. So now I'm in understanding that if not in my name he's not able to give me a key. Pregnant,awake early, I'm not at my best obviously, adding extremely sensitive. He then gives me instruction," That I need to wake my husband if I want to get back in the room." I'm infuriated at this point. So I do exactly this. I had to wake my husband up in order to get in my room. My husband has to head down and get us keys. It was horrible. The gentleman not apologetic at all is just explaining " COMPANY POLICY. " I KNOW, "I'm not at the Marriott, Hilton, ect......None the less. Not respectful, insensitive, and truly don't need to stay here ever again. NOW WIDE AWAKE AND READY TO LEAVE SUCH A HORRIBLE...
