EDIT: After contacting corporate they gave me a voucher for free donuts. I called the Krispy Kreme on 6/23 on Florin in Sacramento 30 minutes prior to arriving to ask what documents I would need to get the six free donuts for getting straight A's. They told me I needed a copy but did not specify a paper or photo copy so I brought a copy on my phone. They proceeded to explain to me when I arrived I needed a "paper copy" and that's what they told me two separate times when they said nothing over the phone about a paper copy. I ordered anyway and pulled up to the window. The girl did not seem interested in taking my order on the headset, so I do not know why I was expecting permissable customer service, but it was nowhere to be phone. She just said "$19.09." Not a please, thank you, how are you, none of that. I then asked her if I could please have my receipt and she shut the window on me without even acknowledging the question, so when she finally opened the window back up, I snatched it out of her hand. It seems she didn't appreciate this and said "okay, that's how you're gonna be," which was the first sentence she had even spoken to me. If she doesn't like me being rude to her as a customer, why is it okay for her to be rude to me when I was nothing but understanding up until this point? She stormed off and the manager had to come hand out our donuts, which were stale and cold. She was polite but kept doubling down that she told me she said paper copy when she didn't over the phone. I tried to search it up as well online but I couldn't find any of the "policies" she was talking about. I want my money back. I spent 20 to drive 25 minutes to get stale, cold donuts and terrible customer service. I'd rather go out to Lincoln because they actually care about their customers and their...
Read moreIF YOU BUY MILK FROM THEM CHECK THE EXP. DATE!!!!!!! The donuts are great. They're not always hot even though they have the hot sign on most The Time, But the only thing that drives me straight up the wall is the fact that The last 3 times I purchased donuts at that location along with some Orange creme and Strawberry milks in the 12oz Glass bottles, They have been expired the last 3 times I went there over a 6-9 month period. Personally, what is beyond disappointing is that I keep putting my faith and trusting SOMEONE at KrispyKreme would have the courtesy or decency to check the milk expiration dates everyday or at least check them when selling them. Silly me, how dumb and delusional I was thinking "they're not going to sell me expired milk". Even worse, there has been times I don't find out until the next day or so because I put the milk inside the refrigerator and then my wife or I will Randomly drink one of the milks either that day or the next Just to spit it out directly on the floor and nearly throw up being it expired a weak prior! Another time it was over a month expired.
I just left there This evening and the girl handed me the milks one at a time, I checked the 1st one and it said exp 1/9/22 ok great! Grab the 2nd and made it to my shop.. ate a few donuts and opened up my good ol sweet sweet Strawberry milk, chug a gulp and a half and immediately spit out what remained in my mouth and almost up chucked what I swallowed. DAMNIT!!!! today is 1/2/22 and APPARENTLY The 2nd milk I got and just so happened to randomly grab had a expired date...
Read moreShockingly, how small their donuts and apple fritters really are. I was absolutely shocked at the small size and the high price of $3.59 each for such a cheap product. The apple fritter was 4" x 4 1/2" by 3/4" thick. I looked at their specialty heart-shaped donuts, which looked to be around 3 inches by 2 and a half inches, for a whopping $3.09 each. I saw another donut shop directly across the street called Baker's. I purchased one of their Apple Fritters. It measured 5 1/2" x 6" by over 1" thick, and the cost was $2.95, This Krispy Kreme didn't have their espresso machine working to make a latte or mocha This place also had issues with the ceiling bubbling and flaking in the area where they prepared food over the work area. This is the first time and last time we go to a Krispy kreme donut shop. They sell cheap junk products. The new Dunkin Donuts only a couple of hundred yards away sells their donuts over a dollar cheaper(we don't like Dunkin donuts, because they too are smaller and cheaply made). I would say to do your own comparison by purchasing one from each place, but you'd be buying junk. Just walk into both places and decide for yourself. Don't waste your hard earned money on garbage. The light fritter is from Krispy kreme, and the dark one is from Baker's...
