Donuts & Coffee — Restaurant in California

SO RUDE!!!! Update your hours or at LEAST your waiting customers! I got there a little after 5am, when it SAYS it’s supposed to open, waited, and someone inside finally looked at me and held up six fingers. I ASKED HER “six more minutes?” And she nodded! I knew she could hear me with the big cracks between the doors. That would make it 5:15 exactly! Fine, I’ll just be twenty or more minutes late for work no big freaking deal!!! I stood there and waited, and waited, and waited!!!! A little after 530, two women peered out, spotted me, and laughed together! They laughed that I was still out there waiting in the freezing cold with dangerous screaming tweakers walking around the gas station!! I left! Absolutely ridiculous. If she meant 6am with her six fingers, that should have been made clear. There should be signs with hours first and foremost!! Since the internet clearly stated they opened at 5 on multiple websites. Go TALK to your customers, too, don’t gesture at them and look at them like they’re crazy! I was there early in the morning because I work early the morning! I’m a college teacher and had students waiting for me!! I picked that shop because they were supposed to be open that early! I should also mention that I wasn’t the only one who was there waiting at 5am. Two other people tried to open the doors and waited a bit before taking off, one man sat waiting in his semi and was still there when I left because he had no other choices with his big truck. Pulled up at 5:40 a.m. to support a local donut shop. They say they open at 5:30, but there were barely any donuts out—looked like they just rolled out of bed. As soon as I walked up, two homeless people hit me up for change, then a dude asked if I wanted to buy some tree. That was all before I even got to the counter.

Asked what was ready, the lady behind the counter couldn’t care less. “It’s early, we don’t have much,” and hit me with attitude when I tried to order a few more donuts. She acted bothered just because she had to grab a bigger box. I was literally trying to spend more, and it felt like that was a problem.

Bottom line: if you want to start your day getting harassed outside and disrespected inside, this is your spot. Otherwise, take your money somewhere it’s...

I ordered my first order through doordash and I'm going to need them to step up on how they list their menu. They have combination of donuts, however it doesn't give you the option to specially select which one. For instance the donuts are listed as raised/cake/old fashioned & they randomly choose a flavor for you. Either list them individually where you can select your favorite or when you list them combined like that have the option of which one can be selected. I ordered raised & they selected chocolate for me when I assumed I would get glazed & I didn't specify chocolate. I selected twist & they selected a sugar twist instead of glazed. I won't be ordering through doordash unless they update. I got donuts I didn't want....
