So let me start off by saying that most people know that restaurants get busy on the weekends so we plan accordingly to where and what time we go to eat. With this being said I choose to avoid all the chaos so I decide to go is the way to go for me and phone in my order. Everything was so far. Mind you now, that I arrive 10 minutes past my given time of pickup and after paying for the food the hostess comes to tell me that my order is not ready yet. I had two orders one of the sirloin tip and eggs with the pork sausage links which was an add on and another of the New York York style cheesecake pancakes stack with out strawberries. After having to wait an additional 25 minutes in the lobby for them to get it together and complete my order which irritated me because there was no point in calling in my order having to wait for it to get cooked while I'm there . I watch as they check to see if everything is correct so the sirloin tip and eggs are missing the buttermilk pancake stack that comes with it and the New York style cheesecake pancakes have a whole bunch of strawberries on top. So by this time you can probably figure that by this time I am a little more than irritated. I now have to wait for these pancakes to get done correctly and have some more pancakes made that were missing. Oscar getting my complete order as I placed it neither the hostess nor the manager bothered to apologize for not having my order ready for pickup on time north messing up the order that they gave me that was incorrect. They did not even try to compensate their error by giving me a discount or giving me something extra for wasting my time they are not by any means required to but it is common courtesy when you do work in the customer...
Read moreHorrible experience this needs to be pointed out. Our waitress who kept speaking to us in Spanish was just awful. Assumed we spoke Spanish took out order and kept assuming we wanted certain items. We pointed it out several times and she just didn’t care. She never came back to our table until it was to time to bring the food and give us the bill. If it wasn’t for a sweet waitress name Jazzie who was busting her butt and still provide service with a smile, we wouldn’t have gotten our food. The manager or whoever was in the back, kept screaming out loud the whole time and I felt bad for alot of the employees. The seemed stressed and overworked. Our order was wrong when it finally came out but at this point we were famished and just wanted to hurry to get out. The initial waitress never came to check us out so we went up to pay and the hostess said we need to check out with the waitress the waitress we never saw??? She seemed just as irritated and not willing to help and then call our initial waitress Suddenly she comes up again speaking Spanish. We paid and asked for the receipt. She was clearly upset and she snapped at us and told us again in Spanish, No tip?? The audacity of her baffled us.she was mad. I hope this location changes because we weren’t the only customers upset. And I hope to the lady constantly screaming and yelling orders out loud and reprimanding the staff, Learns proper edicate and how to tone down in a restaurant full of customers. It was so annoying to hear her voice continuously bickering and yelling. Overall we waited over 40 mins for food and never once got checked in on except for the sweet hostess Jazzie who truly deserves to...
Read moreSadly, I will no longer visit this IHOP. I made a reservation for 20 people 1 week in advance and spoke with manager Jenny/Genny. She took my name and number. The day of dinner I am told by host that my reservation should have been canceled 3 days prior due to manager Jenny/Genny having told all employees that maintenance had been scheduled for Sunday, Dec 19th. I was not called by anyone in advance. Host offered to stay and serve us only til 6pm. Cooks refused and manager called to speak to me to explain that it had been my responsibility to check back the Saturday prior to event. This was a lie. Jenny/Genny very coldly stated that she always gave that instruction to anyone who reserved. I was very frustrated and explained that I had neither been told that by her nor had i agreed to that. (In fact, I was so appreciative of the reservation being available that I stated that I was a good tipper. Jenny/Genny had chuckled upon our initial conversation and stated she was happy to help and only wanted to make sure we would have a server just to help our group.) Jenny/Genny stated she remembered that part of our conversation, then offered to call the Meadowview IHOP to see if we could be accommodated for same day dinner reservation. This was absurd being that my guests had already started arriving. My dinner guests were volunteers of our nonprofit for youth in delinquency, parents of incarcerated youth, and on and off probation youth in the community. This was a terrible last minute issue to thrust on them. Fortunately, we recovered with very welcoming Mexican restaurant- La Soga in same plaza. We gave our server a $60 tip for AMAZING...
