I usually really like Dutch Bros but that day was not a good day for the Dutch Mafia. I was also bringing a friend who prefers (enter competitors here) but I was able to convince her to give Dutch Bros a try .The wait usually isn't long but this time was particularly long due to your employee having a good long casual chat with his associates. At this point several more cars showed up. I'm sure you are aware of how busy a Dutch Bros can get in almost no time . So I was surprised to still see your employee chatting with his associates as if he didn't have a job to do. After realizing that he had a job to do he made his way to our car and took our order there was no apology for the long wait. There was no actual menu that could be seen from the car due to promotional seasonal drink that wasn't even available to purchase for what ever reason. I knew what I wanted but for a person who's never been there it was not easy to pick out a drink. My friend was offered a "rebel" from your employee who probably realized he was busier than he wanted to be and pretty much tried to rush us off with out much assistance at all. But my friend wanted a coffee not an energy drink. So we eventually got what is your carmal latte equivalent, paid(or so we thought), and moved to the window. We confirmed our order at the window but was never charged but the employee who takes the orders at the car(not sure what you call that person). The card machine was also not acting right at the window and it took what felt like for ever to get two coffee drinks and your employees seemed as if they didn't know how to trouble shoot or even knew what they were doing at all but knew the words to the song that was playing pretty loud in the sardine can you call a coffee shop. It's no wonder orders are bound to get mixed up from time to time...I digress. I've work in the service industry for a better part of a decade so I get it. I also know that we're in odd times right now and everything so I was only trying to leave it at just one star...but you asked.
In conclusion know Dutch Bros is supposed to be a "young" and "fun" work place but your employees need to take their jobs just a little more serious because I was absolutely dissatisfied with my service at that Dutch Bros that day. The Dutch Mafia standard did not exceed expectation. And my friend will probably never go to a Dutch Bros again.. I may give it another go but when Google ask me to give a review I won't hold back if I ever receive the the service I received...
Read moreI have been going to this florin road location since it open , today was my last time dealing with the horrible customer service Today I went and ordered my same drink I get everyday the lady didn’t say good morning hi nothing just what would you like to order I was flabbergasted because normally the greet and other location also , once she took my order she said $7.95 I ask how is it that price everyday it’s $7.45 she simply ignored me and said cash or card very rudely . After paying I was waiting for my drink and it wasn’t sitting well how rude she was considering I spend $42.96 a week at this location sometimes I even go twice a day for a chilled drink . I requested a manger she stated we don’t have one but we got a lead , once the lead came he wasn’t nice either I explained the situation and he stated prices went up upon checking he realized she charged me to a iced drink not a hot drink I ended up not getting a drink at all. I normally don’t leave reviews but this was very unacceptable they had better workers and better quality of service when Josh was at this location I definitely...
Read moreI've been to Dutch Bros a couple of times at night, and unfortunately, both experiences have been less than pleasant due to one particular barista. There’s a medium-built Hispanic girl who works the night shift, and during my first visit outside I overheard her gossiping with coworkers about some inappropriate personal matters, which made the interaction uncomfortable I understand casual conversation is common in coffee shops, but this went beyond that.
When I came back the second time around 1015pm, she seemed visibly upset about an order that she had input incorrectly, yet it felt like the frustration was aimed at me. Rather than apologizing or correcting the mistake gracefully, the attitude just soured the whole experience.
I love Dutch Bros, but I hope management can address this to improve the professionalism of the late-night team. It’s always better when customers leave with a smile and a good vibe, not feeling awkward...
