We pulled in on a rainy day and I was scared. Budget motels are were drug busts occur and have roaches crawling around, ya know. This place wonderfully surprised me!!! They should rename this place to Paradise Inn or Oasis Inn or something else, because I would have never picked this place because of the name! We got a king size room, and we opted for the tiled floors instead of carpet. It's pretty tight, but it's just my husband and I, so to us it's cozy. It's extremely clean!!!! It's been recently renovated I think. The paint is a pretty sky blue color, and the accent wall behind the headboard is a charcoal gray. Everything is modernized. USB outlets for all your devices! Free wifi!! Yay! The bed is very comfortable. The sheets are not as soft as ours at home, but they are clean and not itchy at all. There is the coolest headboard that has built in drawers, headlamps, and USB outlets on the sides. There are 4 pillows. The avocado green comforter looks dingy and scary in the other pic reviews, but it's actually not that ugly in person, and it's very clean. There's an extra blanket in one of drawers. There's a flat screen tv with cable. There's a small desk that's perfect for when my husband has to do his work this week. There's a cool lamp on the desk that has a built in fan. It's got a good AC that's controlled by a thermostat on the wall near the bathroom. The bathroom is nice and clean. There are these cool soap and lotion dispensers by the sink and a body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispenser in the shower. There's only a shower in our room; no tub. There's a hair dryer. There is no closet, just a low hanging rack in the corner by the fridge. I wish the rack was taller because all I brought were long dress. There is a small microwave above the fridge and a small coffee maker as well. When I look out the window facing the parking lot, I see pretty blooming trees. I think I'm going to enjoy my stay here. I didn't get to talk to any of the staff, but my husband did and he said that they were very nice. If you are considering about staying here, don't hesitate!! Don't be scared by the name. It's near a busy road, but this town seems small and quiet. I think it's only like 35 min. away from Disney! It's only my first day, but I wanted to already give a good review to help this little Inn out. I would recommended this place to...
Read moreWe have been looking for an inexpensive place to stay in St. Cloud that is near our family. The places that are in the area are “No-tell motels” based on the reviews. The ones in Kissimmee are $200+ and still 30 minutes away. This time while searching, I came across a review for Budget Inn of St Cloud. With almost 5 stars I on Google. I then checked it out on TripAdvisor and Yelp, all had good reviews and the pictures looked ok. Plus it was 5 minutes away from family.||There is no online service or pricing information, you must call to make reservations. There was one little discrepancy that bothered me a bit. The price I was charged was not the price I was quoted over the phone. The total prices was still less than the chain hotels so I didn’t raise a stick.||Now it is a budget motel. Drive up to the door and you either face US-192 in the front or in the back facing houses. We were in the back and it was surprisingly quiet. Don’t expect a pool or free ice. Do expect a very clean room with new linens and towels, a small fridge and coffee maker. I liked the fact that there was tile floors instead of carpet. Also there is a VERY STRICT no smoking rule. That’s great because you do not have to pass by people hanging outside smoking the entire time. ||Overall we will return when we want to do a quick trip to please the mother (in-law). It’s great for 1 or 2...
