We have been loyal customers for four years, but tonight's experience was unacceptable. We made one of our usual orders and when it arrived was completely wrong, so we sent it back and called right away. Then we thought we cleared up the mistake and had the right order made. When we asked how much it would cost, we were told, "don't worry about it".
Almost two hours after our original order when the second delivery came, it was still wrong and the delivery driver told us we owed more than the original total was told to us. When we called to figure it out, we were told that they thought we had paid for the original order so the "don't worry about it" meant we paid the original price for the first wrong order, and they thought we kept it even though we specifically said we sent it all back, but then because the second order was more, we were supposed to pay for that too, because we didn't pay for the first order that was sent back. Which made no sense. Then we were forwarded to someone else who explained they were a small business, and it was loud, and we made the wrong order in the first place.
Finally, we gave the driver the original amount we were told plus a healthy tip after we were rudely told to just keep it. We were just trying to do the right thing and get the actual order we wanted and it turned into...
Read moreIf you're looking for a small town pizza spot vibe, you'd enjoy it. The service is quick and friendly. SMALL spot, so be patient and don't fuss if there isn't a place to sit! Its not a place for large parties but the food is good enough to order delivery for the next football gathering for sure. I had the wings which were perfect. The mozzarella sticks are BIG (and good)! My friend got the cheese garlic bread with her daughter. It was really good. I also got a caprese salad. If I am being honest, I was hesitant getting that salad. I can guarantee you I will order that every time from now on. It was really good. I ordered delivery the other day. Took around 45 min which is expected. I had the eggplant parm dinner. There was enough for 2-3 meals. It was very good (I might check if there is the option to sub for penne since I prefer that over spaghetti) I got a side of meatballs and stuffed shells for the kids. The stuffed shells were good but the meatballs were definitely the favorite of the 2 for the kids. They were large meatballs and again we made multiple meals out of them. We didn't like the bread twists as there was way too much parsley on it and that is all we tasted but thats ok. Everything else was...
Read moreSt. Cloud, FL. Excellent crusty bread on the turkey sub and a great spinach calzone with perfect marinara sauce for dipping. They make their own bread for the subs and it’s perfectly toasted. Also the small calzone is actually as big as “an aircraft carrier,” said Miguel.
I sat at one of 6 booths around 12:30 pm Friday afternoon. Great family atmosphere. Lots of regulars came in picking up to-go orders. One regular opened the door and a server called out, “Miguel’s here!” After a bit I offered Miguel a seat at my booth since space was limited and he told me the owner, Flavio (who spent a lot of time talking with Miguel), is from New York. Miguel’s favorite entree from this restaurant is the wings, which he’d ordered for his dinner later. They came with blue cheese sauce which he said was NOT vinegary sour but was more garlicky (I asked because I don’t like vinegary blue cheese sauce, I prefer garlicky).
I was an only child so sitting here alone (my husband was home with a cold today) and listening to the familiar neighborhood chatter at all the tables was great. Plus the team with Flavio worked well together. And when I left and yelled “Thanks!” Flavio’s daughter and the other server said,...
