I asked for the owner and, to my surprise she said âI am the ownerâ! This is the most disgusting way to conduct business that I have ever experience in my entire life, not to mention that she ruined my daughter 10th birthday among with 5 invited guest and, the kids disappointing gestures after all the plans made. I visited the business prior to the birthday, I asked the old lady and told her it was going to be 6 kids, the old lady showed me the items and I agree to pay like $25 per kid based on the size of their figurine. Probably a 150 ticket i figure. We made the invitations based in the information. Sunday, the birthday day we arrived, the 6 kids and 3 adults, me a disabled veteran, my wife and my 85yo mom. They were kinda impress that we showed up by looking to their faces, I asked a younger lady that we were here as I tough they were expecting us, she said that they could not accommodate us because they seat only 6 per table, I told her, here are the six kids we agree, then she said well, 6 kids in a table but an adult have to stay with them, so there are not 6 therefore you can not do it. You supposed to do a reservation for a room which is 50 plus you have to spend $250 or more! I told her, the business is almost empty and we will not be there for more than one hour, I ask if there is anything we could do. She replied NO and those are the rules, I asked, can I speak to the owner? She said I am the owner, I politely told her if that is the way she conducts business then we must leave. And that is the way they ruin my daughterâs birthday. Will never go again to Just Glazin and, I will make sure I spread my honest review on how this poor business conducts business. I saw prior reviews, the owner is going to defend herself and their employees wrongdoing, if their employees needs training that is not the customerâs problem, specifically with their lack of communication. The scope of my review is not to harm the business in any ways⌠just telling my true story so you know what you can expect. Train your employees. ...
Read moreMy friend and I went and painted some pottery back in Jan 2024. It was fun and relaxing. When we left we were told the pieces would be ready in 2-3 weeks... leading into Feb 2024. Time past and my friend and I didn't get a chance to pick up our pieces. My friend has 4 small children and I have a 15 month old and I am in the military so as you can image life gets crazy busy for both of us. March 11 2024, I received a courtesy text from someone telling me to pick up my piece before March 15th 2024. Noted. But I couldn't that week and ended showing up early March 16th 2024.Heather, the lady at the front desk at the time, was not pleasant at all. No "good morning, how can I help you?" - nothing. I greeted her and asked to pick up 2 pieces (mines and my friends) the whole interaction was off-putting and cold. Heather: "your pieces were discarded.." "your lucky we sent you a courtesy text bc we normally dont" . Me: "could yall still have them somewhere? could we please check?" Heather: "no once your past the pick up date, it's discarded" Me: "discarded, like thrown in the trash? Heather: "yup" Me: "can we just check in case? Bc its still early" Heather: "no" and proceeded to show me screen and clicked the discarded button so I can see. Disappointed and frustrated I simply walked away and left the store. It was as if she took pleasure in telling me our pieces were thrown out. Very poor customer service and severe lack of interpersonal skills. There's a way to deal and talk to customers who miss there pick up date - this was not it. My friends and I WERE thinking of doing a group moms evening out at this place but Heather's attitude and lack of empathy has changed our mind and we won't be going back. Prices are way too high to receive such horrible...
Read moreI had a terrible experience and will definitely not go back to this place ever again! They never called me to let me know that my pieces were ready and I ended up calling twice to check. Finally, when I went to pick them up, my main pottery piece was not there and apparently it was given to someone else due to their poor and careless management of identification of pieces when you leave them to get glazed and fired. Heather (the front desk staff) just put two primary colors (red and blue) to identify my work. Really?! I could not believe it!! I was really upset, mad and hurt because I spent 3 hours painting that piece which was going to be a wedding anniversary gift for my husband! Man, I think I did a really good job because the person that took it knowing that it was not theirs, preferred mine instead of the one that they painted. It is very disappointing that someone will have my husbandâs wedding anniversary gift at their house and it was hard to explain to my little kids (which were also hoping to see the final product) the bad actions that some people take. And they had the chance to return it and still didnât. But the staffâs careless way on how they handled this situation deserves a negative star rating. She even asked me if I was sure that the piece that was there was not mine!? Thank God I took a picture and I could stop her from insinuating that I was lying too! They stated that this was the first time something like this had happened and I really doubt it! It will keep happening because of their poor management and terrible...
