Loading Gastrobrunch — Restaurant in Saint Cloud

Where do I start? I've been coming to this restaurant for a short while, and absolutely loved it until today. Jesse has always been our server, and he's always amazing. He happened to be off today (Sunday 10/29/23). Well, seems like when he's off the place completely falls apart. It's Sunday, around 1pm and my partner and I know it's busy... so, no biggie. There's a wait, so we decide to go to the bar. Everything is great until we receive an 8th of our order. Normally, since we love the food here my fiancee and I order a substantial amount of food. We always receive everything at the same time. My fiancée ordered chicken and waffles, which came out first. 10 minutes later my cold veggie omelet with potatoes comes out next... mind you we ordered a side of sausage, grits, large order of sausage gravy, order of candied bacon and semolina toast. I ask, "where is the rest of our order", Laura our bartender explains they're a "tapas" restaurant (no where near a tapas restaurant, you're portions are huge tf?) and everything comes out as it's ready, she says(cool, but the 3 other times we've come here that's never happened with Jesse and food is always piping hot). Anyway, food gets colder. It's completely bland in flavor. "Candied bacon" is just regular bacon, which comes out 20 minutes after our entrees... not to mention WE NEVER RECEIVED OUR GRITS! When they finally bring us sausage gravy, we receive a ramekin of cold gross gravy (when we actually ordered a bowl of it, even though we knew they were out of biscuits). At this point, I apologetically return the cold veggie omelet and potatoes. Laura takes my cold entree away. Cool. I originally ordered "bottomless" mimosas, so I order one more, the check and boxes. 15 minutes later, I haven't received anything I asked for... and why? Because since 1:38pm they've been too busy trying to close down and clean a restaurant that closes at 3pm. I understand it was busy when we first arrived, but it's now after 2:30pm and they're busy doing closing duties (even though a 10 top just came in, like where are you going?) Finally other bartender/server (dark skinned, slim female who came behind bar with 3-4 yr old child on her hip trying to multi-task... don't ask me why???) Comes over, we explain our check still has grits we never received. She agrees to take grits off, hands us check. We place our credit card for payment. Same bartender/ server snatches check. Takes payment. Seems like our inconvenience was taken personally, huh? No sense of concern, no apologies, no bag for our leftover boxes. Probably the Worst service I've received in any restaurant I've ever been too. Seems like they're only concern was closing up restaurant, and definitely not their customers. I'm so disappointed. This place is excellent. The food here is superb. I went here with my fiancee and his co- workers for my fiancee birthday celebration 🎂 🎈 🥳🎁🍽☕🏝🌞back on Feb.21. We all had a great time. I had the strawberry 🍓 pancakes 🥞 it was sooo delicious and yummy 😋. For an appetizer my fiancee co - worker order beacon on a stick that came in a glass🥓 and there was some kind of sauce that was so good that you put it on the beacon .🥓 The beacon tasted so good. I had orange 🍊 juice for my drink with my pancakes 🥞. The orange 🍊 juice i drank was so good. The orange 🍊 juice tasted freshely squeezed. This place has a bar inside you can sit at. You can even sit outside to . There is tables and chairs 💺 outside so you can dine outside to. This place is not expensive at all. You really get your money 💰 worth by coming here. There is only one problem eating inside . This place is very noisy. So i you considering coming here to eat then i recommend to eat outside . Where you and your company can talk and i don't recommend coming to this restaurant on a saturday or a sunday. This place gets pack. If you do come on a saturday or a sunday then i do recommend a reverations. I recommend coming to this resturant during the week. Iam sure this place won't be pack because everybody at work and school. I was here with my fiancee and his co- workers on sunday feb. 21,2021 and this place was pack with people. There was another birthday 🎂 celebration going on that day. My fiacee had a nice birthday celebration 🎂 🎈 with me and his co- workers that day. The staff came out and sang happy birthday to my fiancee. That was so cool. This place is located in downtown St.Cloud,FL. So if you are looking for a breakfast / Lunch place and not looking to spend alot of money and looking to go to a place to socialize and for place to celebrate someone birthday then Loading Gastrobrunch is the place to be....

My visits to Loading Gastropub have left me with mixed feelings, primarily due to the inconsistent service I encountered. While the food at this establishment was enjoyable, the recurring issues with disappearing waitstaff and a lack of attentiveness greatly impacted my overall experience.

During my first visit, I opted for the bottomless mimosa option. However, I was disappointed when the waitress vanished after serving me only one drink. Despite waiting for a refill, she never returned to my table. This lack of attentiveness was frustrating, and it hindered my ability to fully enjoy the offering. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the host, who was apologetic and took steps to address the issue by providing a $15 discount on the bill.

Hoping for an improved experience, I decided to give Loading Gastropub another chance. The food continued to impress; however, the service shortcomings persisted. On this occasion, I ordered a simple coffee but was left waiting as the waitress disappeared without bringing it to me. This lack of follow-through and attentiveness was disappointing and did not meet my expectations.

It is disheartening to encounter such inconsistent service in an otherwise promising establishment. While the food at Loading Gastropub is noteworthy, the recurring issues with disappearing waitstaff and a lack of attentiveness detract from the overall dining experience. Due to these factors, I can only provide a two-star rating. I sincerely hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and addresses the service issues to create a more enjoyable and consistent dining experience for...
