Budget Inn — Hotel in Saint Joseph

Since the new management has taken over there have been so many changes for the better. He’s always available and gives out his own personal cellphone number for customers to get ahold of him anytime night or day always asking if we need new towels or out linens changed out. As well as the constant upkeep. A little bit here a little bit there. He’s only one man so it is taking awhile but things are getting done. And the place is starting to look a lot better. You’ve got mosaic urgent care right across the street and Burger King and Wendy’s within walking distance. You also have big lots and hobby lobby as well as Ross within walking distance and CVS is right around the corner. All in all the place is really starting to shape up and look nice and management is an overall improvement. We stay there a lot and plan on staying a lot more...

Horrible person running this place. We reserved a room on Friday for a week starting Saturday running through Saturday. This guy knocks on the door with a pad lock in his hand and says pay or get out. Tried to explain that the desk clerk at checkin told us that the room was paid until Saturday. We checked in on Saturday night around 7 pm. The picture says it all. The guy screamed at us even after we offered to pay for the extra day. He called the police because I was so angry. But we just through our stuff together and left. It is sad that people are like that and in the hospitality business. I never had a more crazy experience in all my years of travel. Hope he learns that not everyone is like that and mostly we all have good intentions. We did no wrong and this guy needs to find another...

Do not let this places name fool you, budget inn is what it is, they got new management so the place is way better than it used to be but the rooms are literally just a jail cell with a bed and TV and shower. They are not up to date at all, not a place you would take pictures and post online, however the staff is friendly, the cost? Cost can't be beat anywhere in town, it's the cheapest you'll find anywhere, I love this place because you literally get what you pay for, you want the top end high count thread sheets, polished end tables then go elsewhere but for a military vet who the basics are perfect for this place is awesome, no more and no less than a person needs, they got daily rates and weekly/monthly rates that really rally save your butt if you find your self in a bad spot and need a...
