Not impressed. Employees seems to not know how to make a basic cappuccino [I overheard one on the phone presumable asking her boss how to make one]. Coffee machines seem to be broken [turning out weak coffee]. Both employees seem to be overwhelmed with the steady stream of customers [never more than 3 in the line since I arrived]. They were out of the burrito bowl I ordered. But only told me 10 minutes after I ordered. They reimbursed me on that. Americano is ok. All in all the best part is that the employees are friendly. If this morning is indicative I will not be back. I use to own and run a coffee shop and this experience would be something that needs addressing. Not a good first impression Hazels. Update: They found a Burrito bowl that I had ordered in the back. Brough it out to me, apologized for the wait and being flustered all morning. that was really nice. But was not...
Read moreLet me start by saying, I really miss the old Hazels location.. but that being said, the new location has the super convenient drive-thru and I love that! There is a sweet little corner with a fireplace that's kind of fun to gather with your friends. I found it odd the last time I came in after 11:00 a.m., that we had to ask for the lights to be turned on in that area. Although they were happy to do it, it didn't give off the welcoming vibes that we typically experience there.
I always really enjoy the selection of merchandise that they have for sale, with lots of cool local items, and unique offerings. It gives you something to look at while they make your drink! Lots of different drink options on the menu, and the clerk behind the counter is usually able to give you a recommendation for the day.
Overall, it's a great place to meet up with a friend for a cup of coffee, and we will...

Charging just under $1 for milk alternatives is ridiculous. Nondairy milk is obviously more expensive but not enough to justify that crazy price. Seems to just be a money grab in my opinion. The baked goods are decent but what I've tried of their other food is nothing to brag about. The broccoli cheese soup was watery, flavorless and is refrigerated then reheated in the microwave for you. No thanks. I used to love their breakfast bagel sandwiches but the last couple times I've ordered it, it hasn't been nearly as good. It's gotten to the point that I really only go there for the convenience of it being on my...
