Because of home renovations I have stayed in several hotels the past few months and I have to say that this is the worst one I've stayed in this far. We went to the room with a jacuzzi and the jacuzzi was disgusting and I have pictures. Look like fecal matter stuck in all the Jets. The front desk is not friendly and this room is anything but clean. As soon as you walking your slapped in the face with the smell of mold and mildew. I couldn't run the air conditioner the entire time because it made me sick. Found a used needle on top of the curtains. And they're still dust and other trash on top of the curtains. This place is disgusting and I am going to post my pictures at this place as well. Extremely disappointed as they thought us after our first night here on the price. They quoted us one price and then try to go up another $15 plus tax. We were quoted around 58 I could be wrong but then they wanted us to pay almost $100. A hundred dollars was with tax included. My point is we were quoted that over the phone we booked the room and then we got here they wanted to charge us an extra $15. The First 48 hours I got no sleep because I was busy cleaning this entire place. I ended up with big sores on my face I believe from all the bacteria and cleaning I had to do. I was never told I'm sorry that you had to clean the room I'm sorry that the room was dirty nothing and they were told about this. They have a plaque saying that they will do anything they need to do to accommodate you to please you to make sure that your stay as comfortable and they did no such thing we also have two phones in the room that did not work the first 24 hours we were here and one of them still does not work. They never fixed anything. They also have a sign stating that everything in your room will be working and it never did. There is also no exhaust in this room at all and this is a room that has a Jacuzzi. I'm pretty sure the wall requires you to have an exhaust vent in the bathroom. The handicap shower was absolutely disgusting. There was mold and pee on everything. The seat that is removable was covered in pee and I could not get rid of the smell or get it clean I use the works on that I also use Comet with bleach among other cleaners and I could not get rid of the nasty smell I had to put it outside of my window. This is the worst place I've ever stayed oh I almost forgot I found a cockroach also behind the refrigerator. And did I mention the freaking syringe that I found on top of the curtains? A used needle that someone used to shoot up drugs! Talk about disgusting and nasty. I will be posting a picture of the top of the curtains but the syringe won't be in it as I already gave it to the front desk. Course no apology nothing. These people are from out of the country they do not care about Hospitality that they yelled at us about the price of the room the first day that we checked in. The ice machine is disgusting! I can prove everything as I have pictures. All the reviews on this page are done by their family. No way in hell any one's given this place a great review especially if they stated any...
Read moreI had two of my employees stay at one of your hotels in San Antonio. It was the Days Inn by Wyndham North/ Stone Oak. Both of them are veterans who travel with their service dogs. They were in town to attend a military job fair. We are actually a nationally accredited company that trains dogs for veterans and others. We have stayed at hotels all over the country. We fly to many of these places. Their service dogs accompany them everywhere. I actually try to book at Days Inn hotels for our travel because we have always been welcomed with open arms and the hotels have been very good. This was NOT the case with our recent stay. I completely understand certain people may have phobias or apprehensions regarding service dogs. However what I cannot understand is why the hotel staff felt it necessary to harass my two people. Not only was the staff completely unprofessional but they also charged my people pet cleaning fees, despite their insistence that these were not pets. Per federal law you are only allowed to ask two questions regarding service dogs, which I am sure you are aware of. The hotel staff asked those questions which my two people both answered without hesitation, then they began to question the veracity of their answers, going so far as to claim they were lying and they were going to call the police. I was outraged and called to speak to the hotel manager on duty. I was expecting to have a polite and professional conversation hoping that this was a regular clerk making this mistake and not a member of management. Much to my shock it was the hotel manager who was doing the bulk of harassing. I attempted to ask her what the concerns were and why she felt the need to take it to this level. She even told me she was going to call the police. It was outrageous. I asked her why she felt they were lying and she said it was because they weren't wearing "service dog vests" which they are not required to do and because one of the dogs was "outside playing" with her handler. She is clearly not familiar with service dogs but part of the relationship between the dog and the handler is that they have play time together and bond. My two people are very familiar with laws and potential issues so they know not to have their playtime with their partners indoors or somewhere that can be a problem. I would also understand if the dogs were unruly or destructive but they weren't. I am shocked by the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism that the manager showed not just to me but more to my two employees... both of whom are veterans. They both have substantial anxiety regarding their need to have a service dog in the first place. This completely unnecessary situation has now further exacerbated their anxiety. I hope that this is not indicative of how your company is going to treat those with service dogs... particularly those who...
Read moreWhen we made it in town early we called and ask if we could check in early and they told us no because they still needed time to clean the rooms and we had to wait until 3p. When we arrived at 3p they gave us a handicap room that was dirty, and when I went and brought it to their attention they switched our room to upstairs to the correct room type that matched my reservation. But this room was also dirty, we was asked to leave the room so they could properly clean the room, which delayed our check in time until 5p. When I asked the manager what could she do to accommodate me for all the inconvenience she said, all she could do was have someone clean the room good and hold the room until we came back as if we’d hadn’t already checked in and paid. They charged my card when I checked in at 3p into that wrong room. It was old liquid soap running down the side of the tub to the floor, it was food on the floor behind the door. It was also food under the hand sink, and ramen noodles in the closet on the floor, it was clothing tags and coins on the floor around the bed, there was a dead spider behind one bed and a dead cricket behind the other bed, it was old food and sticky stuff inside the fridge and freezer of the side by side refrigerator. It was hair on the clean toweled in the restroom. Bathroom door knob was hanging off, A/C barely worked never got cold enough to get comfortable. After finally getting into the room we went back downstairs later and asked for more towels and they told us that we already had towels in the room, they didn’t want to give us more towels until we explained to them that we had already used the towels and we don’t reuse our towels, that’s when they gave us more towel. I never stayed in a Days Inn before I was referred by a family member because it was severely family members that came into town and wanted to stay at the same hotel. But it was a lesson learned we survived and we’re never going back or recommending this hotel to anyone and I might just also cancel my Wyndham rewards and everything else I’m singed up with them as well. I was baffled when I found out Wyndham was a part of Days Inn!!! You have been warned, go and stay at...
