I just had my 2nd cataract removal. My first eye was done couple weeks ago.

Dr Bean and his staff are exceptional. From first meeting, everyone was friendly, very positive, knowledgeable and went out of their way to help me be comfortable and relaxed. Dr Bean, although busy, took the time to explain things in words I understood. Answering my questions patiently with humor and making me feel like I was his only patient. Dr Bean and his staff really have your best interests at heart will do everything possible to help his patients be calm, relaxed, and feeling that I was an active participant in my eye health. The surgery, while a little scary at first, was done quickly and painlessly. I'm extremely happy with the results. Beside removing the cataracts, my vision was corrected at the same time, removing my need for glasses. There was NO PAIN at all, which was the most scary part for me, since I anticipated pain. From check-in to being back home following the eye surgery, was under 2 hours.

Dr. Ramirez is the very best doctor in every way. He is attentive, caring and very thorough. I left his office feeling confident. I knew that everything he told me and that he advised me of regarding my eyes and health was not only right in every way...but, expressed in a caring manner! My only complaint...there is no music in the entire office...the atmosphere is so dreary, chairs are stained terribly in the waiting room...things like the bathroom mirrors were covered in creeping crud... Josie, the doctor's assistant , was excellent in every way. Josies room though dreary was clean and the doctor's exam room was clean too...but, the rest...well I'm surprised no one that owns this business has made it better or cleaner. Music would at least cheer this clinic up...and the patients would be happier, the staff, I believe would be more productive and have something to smile about. Right now though Dr. Ramirez is Beyond Excellent...and Josie is great...the waiting room and bathrooms are depressing. Thank God for Dr. Ramirez! Christopher Ramirez...

Dr. Bean was so great! i had a bump and discomfort starting under my left eyelid that i had never experienced before. i fell asleep on my stomach and woke up with a swollen eyelid. i called as soon as SA EYE had opened and was able to rush to one of their locations and get seen an hour. thankfully the team and Dr. Bean were able to see what i had and gave me 3 options on my next path to tending to my chalazion. we went with the eyedrops for the day, but after thinking it over at night, just wanted to make sure it was removed completely. i made an appointment with him at another location he was working at the next day and had it removed with an outpatient procedure. it’s been about 24 hours and my eyelid is bruised and a bit swollen (as he informed me), but looks so much better! best of all, it was in network for my insurance so i didn’t have to worry about a copay. i would definitely recommend Dr. Bean and San...
