El Gran Tapatio Mexican Grill — Restaurant in San Antonio

We ordered food to Go. As we are waiting, a waitress gave us someone else is order that was dining in. We immediately told waitress that is not our order. Then about 10 minutes later we get our order. We go home to find that the extra tacos we paid for were switch for bean and cheese instead of tripitas. We were so upset cause I though maybe I was judging the staff there, but the vibe in that place is bad. The service of the staff members is horrible. My gut was telling me they did something to our food. To find out they purposely put the bean and cheese when its not what we ordered. We called to complain and the lady on the phone said, " oh sorry they were changing shifts." Our meal was ruined just because of the staff since were waiting on our food. So we decided to just go back and return the food so we could forget about incident and use our money somewhere else. The lady with the highlights pointed at a No Refunds sign and laughing at us. It was ridiculous. Had never received that horrible service before. I feel so strongly about this situation I had never left a review before in my life, but people do not deserve to waste their money in that place. They don't care and they have their NO Refund sign along with we don't call 911 pistol sign. Because of that they are doing what ever the they want with people's food and laugh saying. " oh sorry...

We went here after abandoning our plan to eat at the Riverwalk bc of the insane crowds and wait times. Found them on Google and reviews looked good. Pulled up and name had changed and was partially under construction. Decided to give it a go anyway. Walked in and they were mopping and half the tables had chairs on top. I thought they were closing up but he said no, they were just cleaning the floors. Inside is pretty basic. But we were so hungry by now and hoping reviews were right. And man were they. Our waitress, Lucy, was so friendly and really on top of things. They bring you a very spicy salsa and yellow cheese dip along with mix of yellow and orange chips. For our meals we had a gordita plate, taco salad (biggest I have ever seen!), 2 combo plates of a chalupa and taco, a puffy taco and a combo plate with enchiladas. We had a TON leftover. Portions are huge. The fresh made corn shells for gordita and puffy taco were similar to an arepa and sooo good I'm thinking of getting one today! Enchilada shells were red which I have never seen. Drink glasses were HUGE. Food came out super fast. I am not a big fan of refried beans but the ones here were FANTASTIC. Our party of 7 all raved about the food. And our total was only $49 -...

We always go and we spend alot of money they always take over 15 mins in the drive thru to take our order when we are the only ones in line they never pay attention to the drive thru, the queso sauce is nasty like ricos cheese, the waitresses are ignorant they always get our order wrong all the time, and when we get home we don't ear because they get the order wrong!! How hard is it to write down an order and fulfill it?!?!? And they have attitude they rush us to order, the owner he looks stuck up and rude, I really dislike this place we will never go back they always mess up all the time! One time they microwaved the Styrofoam to go box and the mole enchilada were burned and dried out and when I asked them to fix it they rolled their eyes and told me it would keep coming out the same, haha how ridiculous! It’s MAY 2018 the Mexican women here are still pendejas!! Egg shells in food too nearly choked Cece/Cese a waitress threw the money back at me to refund me for those tacos...
