This review is mostly for the specific condo 1802 but I do mention some things about the building in general as well.||||pros|| We stayed a week in this huge condo with 3 beds and 3 baths. It has 2 master suites one of which is a lockoff with a kitchenette. It has 15ft ceilings and an awesome balcony view of the gulf and awesome sliding glass windows with a view of the sound. There is a shared balcony with a view of the sound also but it might as well be private because there are only 3 condos on this floor. The master bedroom also has access to the gulf side balcony and 10ft tall windows with gulf views. ||||Words and pictures really don't do this condo justice. There are TVs in every bedroom and the living room. There is tile throughout. Check in was completely contactless and went very smooth. The building itself has a spacious parking lot, gated pool/hot tub and beach access with outdoor showers and bathrooms. ||||minor cons||Elevators are slow but there are 2 so you don't have that long of a wait.|| The tile throughout! Specifically the type of tile in the living room and bedrooms is very uncomfortable for bare feet. It looks very cool though! Personally I would put an area rug in the living room and master bedroom. ||Although you have a great view of the gulf from the kitchen, the design is a little awkward for going back and forth to the living room. ||||In conclusion it is a great condo and we would definitely...
Read moreGot a small studio A0401 and was quite disappointed. We had to place towels over the see through mesh blinds otherwise the people staying at the resort on the other side could see me use the bathroom. The bathroom sink was very slow draining and if you want to wash dishes, you have to do them in the bathtub. This room is right off the elevator and is noisy. The frig was very small and a joke. Tv cable came and went. We couldn’t figure out why we had to have a bracelet to swim in a pool that was gated with a combination. We didn’t use them and leaving those bracelets in the room wasn’t “returning” them so we were charged over $10 to replace them. That sounds like a “gotcha” to me. Don’t ask for your name on the complimentary beach chairs. We tried for two days then gave up. I think that’s enough to give you the idea. We travel frequently and always adhere to the rules. Oh...and you better ask for a copy of everything you sign so you can adhere to their rules to the tee. The pros...it was clean. I hope you have better luck...
Read moreWe had a good experience here at The Caribbean. The view is gorgeous, the building is pretty well maintained, the pools were in good repair and constantly cleaned. Security was nice and never gave us any trouble (just make sure to wear your wristbands in the pool).||Parking lot was kinda tight for our larger vehicle so finding a spot to park and backing out was always a little rough. ||Non Condo Specific:||The beach site outside the condos was nice, however; this beach is regulated and we had a red flag for most of the week and apparently you cannot get in the water past your knees or you could be fined $1000’s of dollars by the sheriff per the lifeguards that kept blowing whistles at us and waving us in when we were out playing in the waves. If your fine with just getting your ankles wet then this would work out great for you but our family has always loved to fight the waves and are very experienced swimmers. The kids quickly got bored due to this so just know this...
