We have been back from our trip for several weeks and I have had time to continue to think about how amazing Halfway to Heaven was and how much we want to go back! The Navarre Beach area and other adjacent beaches/sites did not disappoint, this felt like just such a gem in terms of the property and the location. Our favorite things about this location: the beach is right there, we did get the chair service one day and that was amazing, we found several totally intact sand dollars, we utilized the condo complex's hot tubs daily (March was a bit cooler), and the nearby restaurants. Our favorite things about the actual property itself: plenty of space for the 6 of us (3 moms + 3 daughters), was nice to have the separate but joined suite, balcony is incredible, washer/dryer, kitchen supplies, couches and seating in the living area. This place is fantastic. Over the years we have stayed here a total of four months and it never gets old. There are only 54 units in the whole building. Its not crowded and parking is not a problem. Everyone seems welcoming and it is very safe. You can walk directly out of the building to the beach or walk for miles on the walking paths adjacent to Gulf Boulevard. The unit itself is immaculate and the view is amazing. Wake up in the morning and you see the blue waters of the Gulf. On the balcony you can relax and enjoy a meal or a beautiful sunrise or sunset. Kae has decorated the unit so tastefully and with such quality furnishings. Complete kitchen with everything to prepare a five course meal. The beds are so comfortable. Finally there is Kae herself. The pictures do not do justice. We were instantly blown away when we walked in by how spacious the unit was and the views. The floor to ceiling windows give amazing, uninterrupted views of the gulf. We had a party of 6 adults and 3 children. The mini suite was so convenient for us with having 2 infants and needing the extra sink, counter space, and refrigerator. The square footage allowed more than enough space for us to all to exist and do what we needed to do comfortably without ever feeling crowded. Everything was very clean and tasteful decorated. It came fully stocked with everything you will need for the week. My one hesitation with this unit was that it was in the 17th floor, but with there only been 3 units per floor, we never waited more than 1 minute for the elevator.
