I thought I’d give this place a shot- after reading mixed reviews. Ie Newly renovated … figuring out kinks with cleaning. To be clear, newly renovated sounded good to me so I booked. But I’d AVOID staying here. The interior renovation is mediocre at best( I will say comfortable new bed and pillows). Old AC / fan unit .. old bathroom. We arrived and the exterior was terrifying but I encouraged my husband rooms were newly renovated. We got into the room and the bathroom door was completely unattached / unhinged. My husband went to the front desk and brought up the issue and was told it was “ only a few screws” and sent him back with a screw driver to fix. He attempted to fix but the wood was so rotted the screws wouldn’t hold - after telling them it wasn’t fixable - they did offer us another room upstairs .. but since we had already unloaded / unpacked with dogs. We decided to just say since we were leaving first thing in AM. They were extremely rude about the bathroom door , acting as if that wasn’t a big deal. For over 90 -120 dollars a night - NOT worth it! I’d avoid staying here. Service poor( we also had to wait at check in and check out with no one at desk) . Breakfast bar also very limited. No area for dogs outside besides some dirt lot. Ice machine area disgusting. I would never stay here again.
The hotel responses/ reply means nothing! “ it’s only a few screws..” was their response to our bathroom door was not closing / broken / completely detached - when we brought it up in person. And to respond to our review pretending to consider our feedback is a total joke. They didn’t care at all when we brought up issue in person . I WILL NEVER RETURN- and encourage you to stay...
Read moreDo NOT stay here. This place is a trap for unsuspecting travelers. We booked a room on a cross country road trip, paid the extreme per pet deposit for a pet friendly room, and were charged an extra $200.00 fine for pet prints on the sheets. When we called to inquire we were informed by the manager in a robotic ( meaning he’s said this exact same speech probably over 200x) that his employees are the highest paid in the area and he doesn’t expect them to have to clean up after guests. Keep in mind we paid a pet deposit for each animal, and the room was pet friendly. The sheets should be washed after each stay (why aren’t they anyway? Why is this different?) He also said that they had to take the room out of circulation to clean, it was literally a dirt foot print from the hotels disgusting pet dirt only pet walk. There is no grass, only fake grass that had been fenced in so no dogs can access it. This place is a scam, a trap, and it’s deplorable that they take advantage of families like this in order to pay their...
Read moreWe stopped for the night while on a road trip. The lobby was being redecorated so it was understandably a bit sparse and smelled like chemicals, but the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. We were pulling a trailer and were able to get one of two extra long parking places so that was convenient. The room was newly renovated, and appeared nice, but the fold out sofa had a stain and did not look clean. Unfortunately, the bathroom was not even close to clean. There were several long black hairs in the sink and on the bathroom floor. The baseboards were very dirty and it looked like the bathroom had not received a thorough cleaning in a while. They clearly mop the floor while the door is open and don’t look behind the door. I’d advise guests to not look behind the door either! The towels were thin and one had black stains on it. The hotel has a lot of potential and the bed was comfortable. But I just can’t handle the lack of detail in...
