Overall our stays at the silver cloud have been awesome. The location if you are going to a mariners game is ideal, literally right across the street! All the staff is always great and super friendly, a valet parking is worth the extra $48 in my opinion. The rooftop pool and hot tub are an added perk! We have stayed here 3 times and will continue to do so when attending mariners games! I have to update. We stayed here this previously weekend for another mariners game. We were unable to check into our room early but they said that we could drop our bags off and pick them up after the game. We got back to the hotel and they said they had brought our bags to our room for us which I thought was extremely nice. Upon getting to our room two of our bags were missing. We called the front desk and they found one of our bags however they could not locate the other bag. It had over $600 of clothes and makeup in it and they just could not find it. They checked their cameras and saw that the bag was indeed dropped off but they had no idea what happened to it. I will say the front desk was extremely nice and they even dropped off a goodie bag in our room of wine, water and goodies but that didn’t replace the bag. They never even offered to credit our room for the inconvenience and they still have not found the bag. We went through and added everything up that was in the bag and they said they were going to have to talk to corporate to try and reimburse us for everything that was in that bag. I would still recommend staying here but I WOULD NOT leave your bags here! I am not sure how a bag just gets lost, and how they couldn’t retrace whose bags they dropped off in which rooms to see if maybe it was placed in someone else’s room. Like I said the staff was very nice but a highly annoying situation.

ROOMS: We reserved a King Suite for 4 nights and a King Room with a hot tub for 1 night. The prices were a bit steep. For the one night in the King Room with a hot tub (on a Sunday), we paid $329 plus tax. In hindsight, I wish we had stayed in that room the whole time. We had a beautiful view of the waterfront and downtown. The hot tub wasn’t the most impressive—I didn’t really feel any massaging effect from the jets—but it was still better than a standard bathtub. The mini-fridge worked well, and a coffee maker was provided with regular coffee, though unfortunately, no decaf. Overall, it was a beautifully designed room with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The biggest downside? The TV had no smart features—no Netflix, no YouTube—only basic channels and paid movie options. Very disappointing for the price. For the other four nights (Wednesday through Saturday), we stayed in a regular King Suite with a view of T-Mobile Park. The prices were $409 plus tax for the first two nights, then dropped to $299 and $289 plus tax on Wednesday and Thursday. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t soundproof—we could hear everything happening outside, especially on game days. The fridge in this room was awful. We stored food overnight, and by the next day, it was completely frozen—even on the bottom shelf. The TV was the same: no smart features. ELEVATORS: Waiting for the elevator was a nightmare. There were only two: one on the left (always occupied by a concierge), and one on the right used a lot by the cleaning staff. It often took a long time for either to arrive. Very inconvenient. RESTAURANT: The food was delicious, arrived quickly, and the service was great. No complaints there. Just a suggestion, could be better with more gluten free options.

Silver cloud turned out to be the perfect spot. I was in Seattle for a celebration of life of a good friend. Try not to spend too much money. I spent quite a lot of time searching for a decent hotel at a decent price. When I came across this one. I booked it comfortable with what I was paying and when I arrived, I got upgraded to a suite which was totally awesome. Alvin at the front desk was very kind and gave me the lowdown of the hotel. My room was huge, comfortable bed, clean well laid out and the hotel did not disappoint.||The room was cut quite large. Small living area with windows all along the wall and it was a corner suite so it was a windows on both walls. One looking at the baseball stadium the other, looking out on the Puget sound. ||Very comfortable bed with plenty of soft pillows. ||A clean solid bathroom and a separate sink make up area if you’re traveling with a companion, you can both get ready at the same time Aveda bath products is a great touch. ||Location is good as long as you’re comfortable walking through a little bit of sketch to get downtown. If you’re going there for baseball or football, it’s a beautiful location. Being right on the water basically you can walk along the water to Pike’s market and everything. It didn’t feel dangerous but you may pass some people who are down on their luck a bit. If you’d like to walk, it’s a great location, not super central to downtown and everything only a mile and a half walk or so but you can walk along the water the whole way. ||Everyone I encountered from the hotel staff was really kind and professional. The restaurant bar in the main floor was very welcoming and the staff was great. Although if you order a salad, I would suggest dressing on the side. ||Overall, silver cloud hotel was a great find! My first stay definitely won’t be my last. I had never heard of this brand and now it will be one. I look for when I travel. Not overly luxurious, really nice and comfortable with a great staff. I would say on par with a courtyard by Marriott, but it has a restaurant bar, which is a step above their cafés. ||This was one those situations where I thought it would be a solid hotel and it really was way above what my expectations were. I will definitely stay here again. Next time I go to Seattle. And this time I’ll bring some swim trunks for the...

They advertise $116 per night however we just paid $399 per night. We also got put into a handicap room and when you showered water went clear over to the toilet and sink. Then in top of that our room did not get serviced so we had to call down to the front desk to get clean towels because ours we still wet from the day before from cleaning up all the water. We have stayed at this hotel several times and will NEVER do it again. I wish I could give them a zero star because 1 star is even to good. Update: had to call the hotel because we left something in the closet. I was put on hold for 14 minutes then finally got someone to answer the phone to be finally transferred to housekeeping and got voicemail. First off has managment ever heard of self check out which would free up the front desk so they could answer the phone when their customers call. On the message that I got to hear over and over they care about customer service... I wonder what they think is horrible customer service if they think that is "good" service. We will see if we get our left behind item. I am not holding my breath to see. Update: since I am unable to reply I will update once again: We had the door sign up so they would not knock on our door at 7:30 am. When we left the gal was cleaning the room across from us and saw us come out. The door tag was NOT up. We got back to the room at 11:30 PM so it was a little late to call. When I called in the morning I was put on hold because she was checking people out. After 5 minutes of being on hold I hung up and called back. Again put on hold and they did not even answer. I called back a third time and said "no" when she told me there were people in line can I put you on hold. That is how I finally got towels. Yes your guy in housekeeping did get me taken care of so it is nice to see someone there at the hotel knows what customer service is. If you have self check out I saw no sign of it in our room and since there were so many people at the front desk checking out apparently no one else in the hotel are aware of this either. Thank you for making excuses for your lack of customer service...

Room was great, and it was close to everywhere I wanted to visit. Hotel staff were friendly, and so was most the valet staff. Unfortunately, it was ruined due to a valet staff - Lloyd I believe is how his name is spelt. I’d asked him to put my purse in my friend’s car. He took a quick look at the valet ticket, got keys, and took my purse. When I returned and climbed into the car, I searched for my purse. He had not put my purse in the car. My friends and I spent half an hour waiting for the valet staff to find the purse (they were very kind and understanding - I very much appreciate their efforts). When questioned about where he put the purse, all he said was “back seat behind the driver’s seat”. We double checked the car over five times. It was not in the car. When he was questioned again, he claimed he’d taken it to the car designated on the ticket. :/ Clearly not. When the supervisor (again, super appreciative of him) went to check the cameras, magically Lloyd was coming back with my purse. It was in another hotel guest’s car. My purse had my car and house keys, and medical information. Luckily, I had taken out my credit and debit cards. My purse, however, could have very easily been in another city by the time I’d come back. I’m very disappointed that this mistake happened. My friends had their stuff placed properly in the car - souvenirs. When asked what the repercussions would be, we were just informed that this would not happen again. I noticed an incident report was in the makings in the supervisor’s hand. I hope that the valet department learns immensely from this. If they could not have found my purse, I don’t know what I would have done. Please ensure if you’re putting anything in your car, you ask to walk to your car and put your stuff in yourself (the supervisor informed us this...
