🙌🙏 * FORREST FRANK + CHILD OF GOD TOUR PART II * MAY 1ST 2025 * 💟✝️ I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and have lived here all my life. I came to know the Lord beginning with receiving a Precious Moments Bible for Christmas as a child when I was 10. From then on, my life grew little by little closer to the Lord, with a handful of church experiences with mostly friends. I really started attending church while in beauty school, after God divinely saved my life, miraculously surviving a terrible car accident. Praise the Lord! I got baptised on 4/20/2014 and have been pursuing Jesus Christ ever since then. I started listening to Christian worship music and was immediately drawn to the joyful and uplifting melodies created by Forrest Frank. His tiktok video, where we patiently sat to cheer up others who would join him for a few moments to hear his music in the song, 'GOOD DAY' is amongst so many tunes, one of my favorites! I love that his beautifully written compositions resonate with so many emotions, in the hearts of persons any age! His music sing out the truth that all of us are God's loved and chosen ones! At the show I attended at WAMU Theatre in Seattle on May 1st, 2025.... I actually got there at God's most perfect appointed time. I walked in, not remembering I had a VIP seat, but being me I found myself standing behind the raised seats in the GA floor section, where I could jump, dance, move and raise my hands in praise 🙌 all my heart desired to do! Knowing his songs so familiarly in my heart, I spent the entire night having the most fun I've ever had in a really long time...well, maybe since attending Hulvey and nobigdyl at the Neptune in April! Anyway, if being alone with God is my favorite thing in the world, my second favorite thing is being in a crowd of believers joyfully singing their hearts out with glorious uplifting praises to Jesus Christ, filled with Holy Spirit and the excitement and gratitude we feel in knowing who God is and how much he loves us so! God always puts us in the exact place we need to be at exactly the right time. It's true. I love the sound of God's children praising the Lord Jesus Christ; how he teaches us to learn to be like children that we may enter his Kingdom of Heaven. This show was filled with so many men, women, and happy children all glorifying our King and Savior. My heart is healed. Thank you, Most Holy Chosen One, My Redeemer,...
Read moreIt was clean. The flexibility of the space is impressive, essentially a giant warehouse with lots of modularity using huge black curtains and of course the seats, a mix of interlocking chairs on the floor and bleachers. Everything looking like it could be moved around easily. The seats were comfortable for what amounted to stackable, cushioned floor chairs. My problems with the venue were with the lighting, concessions, and the configuration of the lines. Before and after the show, the lights outside of the main show floor were so dim that I could barely see and tripped (twice) over some floor stanchions dividing the far-too massive drinking areas. Because of the modularity of the space, there aren't fixed signs (or really, any kind if signage) to the main show area, so many (like, a ton) of us were left fumbling around the black curtains trying to find a way in. Lights in the main show area were brighter, especially over the bleachers, making for a weird vibe. There weren't enough concessions open to support the attendees, which caused incredibly long lines that stretched across a massive hall to one of the main show entrances, intersecting an equally long merch line, and the lines for both the women's and men's restrooms. It was confusing and congested, and the concession lines weren't cleared until 30+ minutes after the break had ended and the second act started. There was also zero understandable audio outside of the main show space so if you were in line for outrageously priced water, you were stuck standing around in the dark staring at overworked concession staff forced to hustle way harder than they had to. I was going to give the venue 3 stars, when I remembered that they also didn't allow bags of any kind, but still had multiple security checkpoints without signage or directions to help guide you. All in all, I wouldn't recommend the venue. The content of the show was great, but this giant warehouse space was poorly staffed and badly configured...
Read moreI have concert anxiety, so sharing my experience based on that. The venue has strong air conditioning and was cool inside when it was 80 degrees out. The inside is huge and spacious, separating the bar/merch area from the show. Disability seating was available with about 20 or so seats and a wheelchair ramp. Staff were everywhere and easily identifiable. During my show, I had a panic attack, and had to step out of the crowd and sit on the floor for a minute. In less than 60 seconds, two members of staff approached to check on me and see if I needed anything.
The acoustics could be better here but overall I thought the sound was fine and for an intimate show like Lizzy McAlpine, it was not a big deal.
Also, there was a guy wearing a security vest outside the venue who told me when i go through the line, they would turn me away for my bag because of the clear bag policy. It was 6 inches long and perfectly within their requirements, but he just said “that’s bigger than 6 inches, there’s lockers over here you can store it in.” I think he was NOT associated with the venue and just trying to get people to buy locker space or clear bags at the vendors across the street, but in the moment I wasn’t sure, so I put my bag in the car and took the necessary stuff in my pockets. Later I saw people going inside with bags the size of mine. Use caution in trusting people who are not clearly associated with the venue in this area as they may be trying to get your money.
The only major issue I had with this venue is that they change the trash bags out so frequently! Right in the middle of a very emotional song about the artist’s father who passed away, an employee came by and was rattling the trash can near me SO loudly as they changed the bags out. There were constant trash carts cutting from the right wall through the crowd. It was hard to stay focused on the show when every 3 minutes, an employee with a cart came rolling by in...
