Lumen Field Event Center — Local services in Seattle

Saw Halestorm, In This Moment and New Year's Day. Amazing show! Sat up in the seats behind the sound booth, just off the floor, and despite the venue resembling a cross between an empty warehouse and an aircraft carrier hanger, the sound quality was generally excellent.

A little heavy on the bass for New Year's Day, and headliners Halestorm got a hint of treble shriek towards the end, but middle act In This Moment was dialed in perfectly.

Initial screening to enter was quick and competent. Bathrooms were clean, bright and expansive. Food and drink offerings were as expensive as we predicted but not too excessive - think airport prices, not Disneyland. Bar areas were secure, pricey and a little confusing to exit in the crowd and dim lights. Security and staff were professional and friendly. Only one issue arose that was dealt with immediately.

All in all a great night, and we wouldn't hesitate to see...

Doctors , Nurses , Police , Security , Leaders People , Interpreters , People Outside , The Door People , Metal Detectors , Food ,The Emergency Group , The Technical Group , The Emergency Team , The Volunteers , The Cleaning group , all the people in the computers , The Parking people , People in the observation area , and I hope I'm not forgetting some one else , but every body was alert and ready to help. It was easy to get in. There were metal detectors so it felt safe. I was told to bring proof of vaccination, but no one checked. There were not clear signs where to go for drinks, stage, or bathrooms. Three times during the performance there were medical emergencies on the floor, and the only way staff found out seemed to be when the band stopped playing and called attention to it. It was also pretty chaotic trying to leave.
