If you're thinking about staying here, DON'T. There's NO breakfast included, no matter what all the travel sites say and it's absolutely FILTHY.||||Booked a deluxe room that included breakfast. Upon arriving, I was told they were doing renovations and that what I actually booked was a standard room and there would be no breakfast. W.T.F. I was told that I would be able to upgrade to a newer room on the Clarion side for $15/night. I go online and went to booking websites to see if they had updated the travel sites with these changes. NOPE!||||I understand a hotel going through renovations but what I don't understand is NOT vacuuming, not dusting, not wiping down, or having enough toilet paper in the rooms. Also, I asked for facial tissue and they told me the rooms weren't supposed to have them. The first room we were put in was probably a hangout for the construction workers because there were pretzels on the ground and food crumbs all over the furniture. The 2nd room we relocated to had a broken a/c unit that when off, it would click and make noises and turn on and off sporadically, the a/c didn't start acting up till 5am. And no, it's below 40 outside, I don't want to leave the fan on as I sleep. Moved to a 3rd room, this is the 4th room I've seen and they're getting progressively filthier. But at this point, I didn't care anymore, as long as I can get some sleep without clicking noises and a fan turning on and off.||||The last straw for me was that I was on day 3 of my stay and my room wasn't serviced at all this whole trip. I packed up my stuff and went to the front desk to check out early and try to get a refund for the remainder of my stay. Turns out my room was never put on the list to get cleaned. Then they couldn't find anyone staying in my room to be checked out. When she looked up my name, it turns out they moved me to the new side and tried to charge me $40 for it but no one notified me. Not a call to the room, not a paper slipped under the door...nothing. So, I got ready for my friend's wedding in the filthy room watching the maid cart get slowly closer and closer but I guess never to see my room.||||ps...Monique, the lady at the front desk, is very good at saying things are not her fault. I get it, but maybe you should note my complaints down for management? I can't be the only one, and if I am, I guess I'm a princess for expecting a "standard" room to not have 2 fridges, 1 broken and the other with food stains inside, have toilet paper, facial tissue, and toiletries, cobwebs, and furniture...
Read moreAfter reading the reviews I was skeptical about booking a room. So much so that we left home without having a room booked. Once we arrived in the area we decided to go check out the place. And see what it was like before booking. The parking lot had no cars. I thought this isn't a good sign. But entering the lobby we were greeted by a very nice young woman. The lobby was clean and smelled fine. We booked the room. We were in room 141. Everything was very clean. The bedding was freshly washed. The bathroom freshly scrubbed and clean. I couldn't believe what recent reviews had stated. Room had air conditioning that worked great. A microwave and fridge. Both were immaculate. Water for shower very hot. Water pressure great. And the family who runs this place are very kind. And are happy to help you with what you need. Reviews suggested the furniture was so old and broken down. I didn't find this to be true. Yes it's older but it's clean and usable. It serves the purpose. If you're expecting everything to be new and modern then your going to be paying a lot more. For under $100 a night this is a good place to stay. They have a restaurant and bar. A pool and some exercise equipment. I would definitely stay there again if in the area. A few reviews stated there was the smell of marijuana. I did smell it two different times. But that didn't have anything to do with management. They have notices and signage about not smoking both marijuana and cigarettes. Don't let the unfair reviews sway you away. You know that there are some people who cannot be made happy and complain about everything. Also within about 3 hours the parking lot was full. And stayed that way...
Read moreOkay. I’m not really sure about this place. Has three or four names associated with it. Apparently it’s under new management. Google has two different listing under two different names with the same pictures as does booking.com. Located behind a Dunkin well looks to be attached to Dunkin. Check in the room around 10:30 at night to find that it had a bar playing music. Not what I needed my 13 year old to see upon entry to the front desk. Hotel is out dated by 15 years. Payed almost 100$ a night for a 45$ a night room. We did not feel safe at this location. Upon parking in the parking lot all you smelled was weed. The entry doors to the inside where our room was located felt like it could be pulled hard enough to open. You do have to use a key to gain entry. They do offer conference rooms, as well as a pool ( you could smell the chlorine in the hallway It was so strong) and a gym. Now the rooms. Didn’t see any bugs. Sheets were cleaned. Bed felt old and not comfortable at all. Stuff was broken (lamp shades, ac/heat controller, outlets on the lamps.) The tv was very outdated early 2000s model. Fridge and microwave did work. Shower and bathroom were cleaned. Nice hot water. The main room door could use more updated security. The door did not shut tight. One good hard kick probably would knock the slide bolt of the wood. Hotel is located almost near the welcome center. I understand this hotel might be under new management but these upgrades need to be done now if you want...
