If you are here in Poconos and looking for place to get local produce/jams/ dessert or a hot sandwich / coffee ? this can be a good option. I visited this place in November and it was a good experience. They have a good collection of jams, honey, pies, freshly baked desserts and lot more if you are looking for a quick bite. The staff were super nice and helped with the selection. I tried their egg sandwich and it was delicious, the bread was freshly baked and tasted real good. I also tried their strawberry cloud in dessert and it had really fresh filling of strawberry jam and cream. The place has ample parking spots and restrooms were located outside. Limited seating was available outside. The place was accessible as it was on first floor.

First time back at this bakery since 2003 and not much changed as far as what they sell: pies, chicken pot pies, pastry (expensive and not sure it's all made on the premises; did I mention its $4 for a peach turnover) . . . . and assorted fudge, ice cream and big cookies. Their menu for regular food is limited to hot dogs, hamburgers, grilled cheese and not much else. The inside is a ramshackle array of 50's style tables and chairs with shelves and display tables piled high with jarred specialties: honey, picked peppers, jams candles and creams. Outside there are tables of fresh fruits and local vegetables; I purchased a NJ steak tomato for $3. Their daily special to draw people is a hot dog and piece of homemade apple pie for $2.95. Just add a dip of ice cream for a special treat. * Don't forget to eat at Sangro Kura next door for truly authentic Japanese Soba / ramen noodles that are made in house, 4 assorted broths and multiple toppings for a yummy bowl of Asian goodness.

DELICIOUS key lime pie and chicken pot pie. Custom ordered for my mom for her birthday a key lime pie and it was phenomenal. Seriously. They've had key lime pies from FL and it really goes toe to toe. One of the best we have ever had. Crust was amazing and the key lime pie was so delicious - it literally wasn't too sweet, or too limey, and the crust was amazing. We will be getting one for my mom every year from here from now on. Editing my review because service is shamefully slow. Huge line and it took way longer than it should have to check out a pie. Come on guys. It should not take 20 minutes to check out a PIE. We will go elsewhere in the future. Came on a Sunday for a blueberry crumb, were the second people in line. There were two people behind the counter taking their time. We stood in line for TWENTY MINUTES until they served us. INSANE.

Charming establishment selling lots of produce, baked goods, and jarred items, plus a grill serving hot meals. We arrived late in the day, just before the grill closed. My burger was excellent - loaded with generous quantities of lovely greens (not plain ol' iceberg lettuce), tomato, onion, and I added avocado. My daughters enjoyed their chili, fries, and chicken parmesan sandwich. I also had a slice of delicious shoo-fly pie. It look a while to get the food, but that's because everything was made to order. There is a dizzying selection of pies, plus breads, other pastries, cookies, and even chocolates. Lovely-looking produce outside. Took away one star due to the fact that the only bathrooms are two port-a-potties outside.

Once a year I travel with my family to the Poconos and every year someone tells me to try and review this bakery. I finally stopped and bought a pie. I traveled 6 hours home only to find that the pie was inedible because it was molded and rotten. I called the establishment to try and have them rectify the situation so I could consider purchasing from them in the future. Three weeks later I'm still waiting for a refund which is completely unacceptable. They definitely missed the mark. If you visit this bakery try to stay away from the fresh pies in the walkways. There is no temperature control device, no dating on the products and the door is always open. Same thing with the cookies and slices of pies behind the glass.

This local spot is part garden shop, part farmer’s market, part bakery/cafe. It’s decidedly local and the food is outstanding. I went with the apple cinnamon roll, huge roll with chunks of cinnamon sugar covered with huge slices of apple just slightly al dente - perfect. Whatever your flavor, if they cook it here, you’ll have had the best.
