When we arrived and checked in, the front desk employee welcomed us and went over our reservation. I froze. She said we had a one night stay in a double queen with pullout sofa bed and I thought we were booked for two nights. We were taking two of our teen children skiiing nearby and definitely needed two nights and multiple beds. I told her there must be a mistake because I had booked two nights in a double queen suite. She said politely but unapologetically that we only had one night booked and that our room type was not going to be available the next night. She quickly found us her solution: change to a different room type. This was not ideal because our two children are 15 and 17 years old and the new arrangement meant they would have to share a pull-out sofa bed for two nights. We didn’t know what to do. In the end, we decided to switch to the new room type for both nights because we had little choice. It was fine not fabulous, but I was not happy with the person I spoke with when I made the reservation. When I did that, I had called the property directly. He made me a reservation quickly. I even remember thinking to myself, Well that was kind of odd because he did not give me a confirmation number. Which made me remember later that he also did not go over my dates with me to confirm that everything was accurate before hanging up. I then received my email with confirmation number, but guess I forgot to go over the dates to ensure that I had a two night stay. So this definitely put a damper on our weekend get-away. But it worked out OK and we did have a fun time, and a nice stay. We had noisy neighbors who woke us up before an early morning, as they walked and ran loudly up and down our hotel hallway. One of them locked out the other and she banged on the door and swore at the other occupant to let her back in. This was at 12:30 AM. That was rude and frustrating, but I know that the hotel itself had very little to do with that annoyance. Great COVID-friendly quick breakfast, clean rooms, spacious,...
Read moreI can't say more positive things about this, and every stay I have at this hotel. First, I must say a special thank you to Jessica at the front desk. This hotel was booked solid two weeks before my stay, but she made an effort to contact me at the first availability and book a room for me. Those details are what makes this the only hotel I stay at when I come to 7 Springs. Second, I love how clean this hotel always appears. The entrance is always clean, the dining area is always clean, the elevators are always clean. The rooms are always spectacular and comfortable. If I need anything from an additional sheet to another towel, the hotel staff is always helpful and positive to give me whatever I need to make my stay pleasant. The morning breakfast is wonderful. I have to admit I don't like the quiche as I'm lactose intolerant, and I miss the eggs. However, there are alternatives that make up for the eggs I miss. Because of all these positive attributes, I exclusively stay here, and any guests I bring know THIS is the only hotel to stay in Somerset...
Read moreThis hotel is very close to the PA turnpike. It is super convenient and very clean. With basic amenities such as a well stocked coffee and tea area, a clean pool and workout room as well as convenient on site laundry. Moreover, the front desk staff was amazingly customer service oriented. When I checked in I learned that my reservation was booked with third-party app and I was not going to be able to use my points. The front desk manager Rebecka was so helpful and patient. She helped me understand what happened and provide tips for how to remedy. In the end, I was able to cancel my third-party booking and book directly with the hotel. She did not have to do that at all. I was stuck with my young family and without her guidance would have been forced to use the third-party booking. It is evident that the staff care about the guest experience and about their job. That is hard to find these days! We stayed in a double queen suite and had plenty of room to spread out and get comfy. We...
