Starbucks — Restaurant in Somerset

I can't stand the "blends" that they pass off as dark roast. No depth or complexity of flavor. Boring and run of the mill. But if you have the time and a quality barista you can get a pour over of some of the best coffee anywhere. If I want something that "most" people would like I'll go to Dunkin Donuts. If you want a choice of profiles depth finish smoke chocolate and all the other nuances of the different beans pick a brew. 2 months ago I would have given them three stars till a young barista saw the dissapointed look on my face when i saw another blend in the dark roast position. She offered a pour over of my choice. They no longer post the poor over so I thought they did not offer them. Now thanks to this young Angel I enjoy a Sumatra or Verona daily. Stopped real quick to grab a snack during our long drive to pick up a rescued pit bull. We got a couple sandwiches and coffees and ate them inside, watched it rain through the window, it was very peaceful. Much quieter than a normal Starbucks. Also I'm tall and fat and I hate stools, so I was pleasantly surprised when I sat down on one of the backless chairs and found it completely stable/sturdy. I was comfortable sitting for twenty minutes until we left, which is kind of a first, I felt like I could have sat there all day.

The workers were very friendly and relaxed; we probably came at the right time, but it didn't feel like a place that gets so much traffic that the employees would be miserable. This Starbucks has gone down hill bad. Every time I go anymore, my drink is messed up and not made the right way. When I went today, 8-14-24, and went through the drive thru. I got up to the window and Jillian was working the window she went to hand my drink out and I looked at it while she was and could tell it was missing the Lemonade in it I asked her if they could remake it. She then proceeded to say, " I was a pain in the butt." I'm sorry I told you it wasn't right. I'm not going there to pay $6.13 for a drink, and it's made wrong every time I go anymore.
