I was excited to eat here, very, actually traveled out of my way. It ended with being screamed at in the parking lot.
After waiting five minutes to be recognized by the not at all busy staff after seemingly ignoring me while I stood forever before that at the "wait here" sign , I noticed the inflammatory political signage right at the door.
I came for pancakes, and coffee with cash in my pocket. Can't we have some spaces that don't have this stuff in your face? I said I was leaving and pointed at the sign expressing my disappointment in their decorations. I didn't insult anyone that works in the place, just left. I did state "nvm I'm leaving (expletive) that" referencing the signage.
I wandered around a bit, off of their property. I was clearly on city property when she burst oit the door threatening thw cops. It would be hilarious if not so insulting and dangerous. A manager came out screaming at me. A server made references to me crashing my car. Ironically the manager was upset I used a single dirty word, aboht a sticker, that she threatened me witch cops and screamed at me, along with other staff. Absolutely unbelievable and so so classy and mature.
This place is not safe for anyone different than the angry owner that came out the door screaming. Not even a moment of conversation, proving exactly why I walked out to start with. She couldn't even handle an insult to a political leader that they chose to post all about walking in. Snowflakes
I don't care about their success but if you care about your community or safety i...
Read moreUnfortunately in all my travels I have not encountered a place that only takes cash and tells you by the end of the meal. Then directs you to their ATM which obviously gives the owner a kick back. Complete disappointment. When I asked where was it posted I was told "on the tables" which was conveniently forgotten on ours (interesting) then told "we" were told at the beginning of our service in which I went to the bathroom because we had been on the road for 5 hours. Do not bother with this place. The service wasn't bad...but not great. Food overpriced for what you received and they only take cash. As a fellow business owner I wish we could operate that way (shady). It's the 21st century and they don't take credit cards, Venmo, cash app, PayPal, Zelle ect .... hummmmmm interesting. Calling out the IRS to do a closer look at this establishment. Not sure how they are getting away with this. Someone is making out and it sure isn't the staff. Any way, I have other choices for places to eat. Had high hopes for this diner, (because I like supporting locally owned establishments) but unfortunately had to pay a convience fee to pay my bill and was told it was my fault 🤷♀️. Won't be back and suggest making another choice if you're passing through. Safe travels my fellow traveler's. Hope this helps in making a decision on where to eat...
Read moreBurger was really great , fries tasted like they sat in grease all day. Lady tht waited on me absolutely sucked and was so very rude . Just because you had to deal with a bad customer, don’t bring tht animosity to your other patrons. This was my first time in here to, very bad first impression. Then after dealing tht bad customer you go around claiming how y’all don’t care about the reviews ?? You just don’t bring that to the floor. Lady you should’ve stayed retired , you’re very extra and very rude to be in this line of duty . I ate my food in silence in fear of being mocked or someone becoming rude to me personally. This won’t be the only social media outlet I’ll use for my bad experience here . I still can’t over you don’t care about the reviews ?? Uhm we the people give you the business to keep operating. You keep. It caring about us , how long do you propose you keep an income in to stay operational and fully staffed? But like I said tho if you read this and still go, get the burger , I had the Cindy Lou burger and it was definitely better than McDonald’s. McDonald’s has better fries tho they don’t taste like they sat in...
