By the price and location we were kinda iffy about this place. However, we had over 300 miles behind the wheel and just needed down time. It looked like a shlum. Price to match. If we were not worn out and sick of being in the car this would never have been a first pick. Well, it is now. Its old so the room we were in was a little musty. Room was clean and supplied. People at the counter were very friendly. We were going to Kennywood for Halloween but had gotten rained out. The room and people were so lovely we just stayed another day. Good location too. Very lovely old fashioned dinner on one side Turkyhill on the other. By the price I would think it is by no attractions. Dirt cheap in comparison to what I have found across the country.

We stayed here on a seven day road trip from Illinois to Massachusetts. Night #1, it was important for us to stay close to the flight 93 memorial so we could see it early the next day. This hotel is maybe 10-15 minutes from it, is extremely affordable ($60 for both me and my sister to get a room together.) The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was perfect for what we needed. Free ice machine and toiletries, wifi, tv, and all the usuals.

The room I got was very clean, the host was friendly, the hotel has a seaside hotel vibe, it is a bit dated but I find it charming. The only issue is road noise but it is a roadside hotel so just bring some earplugs (as you should while traveling). They have smoking rooms that don't stink actually a pleasant smell.

Very dirty and unkept. The ice machine was down for most of our stay and getting ice from front desk varied sometimes they had and sometimes they didn't. The housekeeper does a substandard job of cleaning. One time I asked her to vacuum, she came to room and said busy and tried to hand me the vacuum, I said no and this place is dirty don't know if she understood because she speaks mostly Spanish and knows very little english. Outside of the owners daughter and a young lady named Lexi the other 3 staff members are very rude and lazy and have an attitude. I guess you get what you pay for however they have much room for improvement. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they could not afford anything else and had no...

There are many accommodation options in Somerset, and we've stayed at several over the years. We decided this time to stay two nights at the Budget Host because we wanted to enjoy breakfast each morning at the Summit Diner next door. The room was not fancy but met our needs, with a comfortable bed for two weary travelers and a room price that didn't bust the budget. There was no issue with cleanliness, and the innkeeper provided an iron when we asked.||There are more than a half dozen restaurants within easy walking distance, a convenience store across the street, and easy access to the...
