By the price and location we were kinda iffy about this place. However, we had over 300 miles behind the wheel and just needed down time. It looked like a shlum. Price to match. If we were not worn out and sick of being in the car this would never have been a first pick. Well, it is now. Its old so the room we were in was a little musty. Room was clean and supplied. People at the counter were very friendly. We were going to Kennywood for Halloween but had gotten rained out. The room and people were so lovely we just stayed another day. Good location too. Very lovely old fashioned dinner on one side Turkyhill on the other. By the price I would think it is by no attractions. Dirt cheap in comparison to what I have found across...
Read moreVery dirty and unkept. The ice machine was down for most of our stay and getting ice from front desk varied sometimes they had and sometimes they didn't. The housekeeper does a substandard job of cleaning. One time I asked her to vacuum, she came to room and said busy and tried to hand me the vacuum, I said no and this place is dirty don't know if she understood because she speaks mostly Spanish and knows very little english. I guess you get what you pay for however they have much room for improvement. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they could not afford anything else and had no...
