Wifey and I had been craving Vietnamese food and fired up Google search. "Hey Google, show me Vietnamese restaurants near me!". Google came back with a few (I am not sponsored by Google btw..bet definitely willing to be...) We landed on the PhĂ´ House.

When we got there we were greeted with a hello and a smile and we're told we could sit wherever we pleased.

The restaurant was clean, bright and had a nice soundtrack going (80s) at the right volume.

Service was quick and friendly. Now for the food. We ordered. Crab Rangoon and Tofu Spring rolls. They bothe were good. The house special PhĂ´ which was DELICIOUS! the broth was spiced perfectly. It was a generous portion and I needed to bring some home (Bonus!) We also got a Banh Mi and asked that they sub the meat with tofu and they did so without a problem. This too was very good. Now even though this was enough food for us. We wanted to try their rice so we ordered the lemongrass and tofu dish knowing we would need to bring some home (Bonusx2). The rice and tofu were VERY good.

Lastly we had some boba teas. The Milk and Mango teas were very good .

All in All. As it stands now. The PhĂ´ House is our go-to Vietnamese spot in the area. I'm sure there are other good options but really enjoyed the experience here. Hope you have the same experience if you decide to give it a try.. you definitely should!

I usually don’t like to write reviews especially a bad one.. but the owner need to change her stinking attitude! No greet or anything. Terrible service, group of 6 and owner is there chatting with her 2 friends taking the 6 top table and refusing to give the table up for customers. She demanded that the group of 6 sit in two separate tables and was extremely loud and rude. Customer service is definitely negative five stars as she was rude with employees working for her also. I feel bad for them. Please take your business somewhere else. We need to support businesses that care about their customers. Hopefully you see this and change your attitude cause if it continues, your business would run down cause of your bad attitude!

Reply to owner: My story is true! Read other low reviews on her attitude..(the lady with glasses) lots of spaces where you could have combined tables for us but she was too busy chit chatting with her two friends taking up the large table, We asked if we could combine the two tables together instead cause we didn’t want to sit separate especially with our young kids…. she was really loud with a stuck up attitude waving her hands cause we heard her rudeness yelling at her employee “no together, separate separate!” .. and that’s why we step out and took our business somewhere else where customers is appreciated!!! Change your rude attitude if you...

If you have good food with really bad service it just spoils your visit!! The so-called "server" brought water, and walked away. Then told us she didn't know what was in the Bahn mi' special because she only takes orders, and doesn't know what anything is. I asked for a dish to share our appetizer, she looked at us like we're were speaking Greek, and walked away babbling. I had to get up and ask the kitchen for a dish. We are talking three tables in the whole place at 3:00 pm!! Asked for a little extra mayo the sandwich, was told there wasn't any. Showed her it was on the sandwich description, and again was told no, there wasn't any. Waited forever to get the check, and then waited forever to pay the check because she was busy cleaning a table... Not that anyone needed that table since there was only one other table of diners. She pushed the cart right past my table, and didn't pick up the check. So I had to carry the check up to the counter and wait till she was good and ready to cash it out. I have to say in my entire life this was the worst server and the worst service I have ever received. This woman will ruin the restaurant. I know I will not go back there even though the food is good, it's not worth the aggravation of someone...

To preface this review, I have never had Pho before. At first glance the restaurant appears to have a nice environment if you overlook the (what looks to be) visible stock room in the back. Perhaps it was a bad night for them however, despite having very few customers, getting a refill on water took no less than 15 minutes, though the Boba did arrive speedily. Once the food arrived it was almost as if they gave up on customer service. The food was accompanied by an assortment of items: Jalapeño, Lime, and Mint. All of which did not seem particularly fresh, and though not visible, felt dirty. The Pho itself was very bland. The meat was unseasoned, and the noodles absorbed the tasteless broth. It is virtually impossible to get any bite of noodles being as they were far too slippery, and much wetter than anticipated, though understandably so. The food was not worth the price. It is a nice place and perhaps I don’t like Pho, or perhaps it wasn’t very good. I will not willingly return. To each their own.

Dishonest Charges — Watch Your Bill Carefully! We had a very frustrating experience here. A $2 charge was added as a “custom item” for our S3 Ga Nuong (grilled chicken), supposedly for a fried egg — but we didn’t add egg, and there was no egg in the dish when it was served. When we asked the owner, she changed the story and said the egg was for the C1 rice special. However, the menu clearly states C1 already comes with a fried egg. Only after I pointed this out directly did she agree to refund the $2. On top of that, the P10 pho (which is supposed to include eye round, flank, and tendon) barely had any tendon — literally two tiny pieces, which we couldn’t even spot until the owner dug them out of the bowl and defended it by saying “tendon is very expensive.” Beef tendon is actually known to be relatively cheap compared to other cuts. Between the sneaky charges, misleading portions, and the lack of transparency, this place left a really bad impression. Definitely not going back.
