I rented 2 cabins for 4 days. Price was high BUT it's a holiday week so comparable to off days, not too bad. The cabins are cute but nothing to write home about. It's like a tiny house which is nice because it's pretty private. Each cabin appears to be the same size so it seems like no one is getting more or less space for their dollar. I think each cabin is owned separately so depending on the owner is how it's decorated, supplied and cared for. Our first night wasn't the best as we were unable to sleep in one of the beds because an animal peed on it and it wasn't replaced. The owner was unaware but was quick to respond to the problem which was great. He did purchase a new mattress which made the situation much better. Just sucked that we had to deal with it at 11pm. The cabin is not supplied with any blankets so bring your own. If I had known we were only going to be supplied sheets, I would've brought blankets, it's chilly at night. Cabins can hold up to 8 comfortably but not everyone is going to be able to drink or eat anything at the same time as you are only given a few kitchen items. For the price you pay, it's not supplied very well. There's a resident that lives in one of the cabins that was super helpful and so welcoming to anyone who comes by. We had a step that kept lifting as we stepped on it and my 70 year old aunt darn fell which freaked us all out. My husband ran into that resident and he grabbed a hammer and within minutes he was fixing our step. If you happen to rent a cabin while he's staying here, I'm sure you'll meet him. Great guy for sure. Would I rent here again? Knowing what I know today, YES. It was perfect for our family reunion and celebration of life for my mom (Tahoe has been a family vacation spot since the 40's so celebrating my here was the reason for the trip). It's cozy for being with family. We were able to have all 3 of our kids and their spouses join us and be in the same cabin. Having all my boys under one roof hasn't happened in over 5 years since they all grew up and have places of their own. My baby sister and her family, my aunt and best friend stayed in the second cabin. Yes, we would 100% stay in any of the cabins again. Great location for all. Close to the lake, shopping and eating. Treat this place like you're in a hotel with a kitchen and bring things to cook with, eat on, drink from and don't forget blankets.

Had a great stay for 6 nights Feb 20th-26th. Douglas was super accommodating to our need for an extension on our stay because of the weather. We adored the little cabin. All the amenities we needed were provided. It had a futon in the living room, one bedroom and a loft upstairs with two twin beds. There are no extra blankets, so if you need one for the futon bring a sleeping bag, I always have mine in my car for emergencies. I don't understand the reviews of thin blankets and it being cold inside. We had to turn the heater off because we were too hot. Nice gas fireplace for ambiance as well with thermostat adjustment. He had a snow removal crew daily coming in as well. There is Wi-Fi as well, but keep in mind you're on vacation in one of the most beautiful towns, try to disconnect and live in the moment. It gets spotty because you are amongst the trees. I was honestly shocked we had Wi-Fi at all! I most definitely will be returning!

We love this cabin! It had everything we needed in our short stay! I have a family of 4 and two dogs. We stayed in cabin #2 and I would recommend it to anyone! I would also recommend that you bring toilet paper, paper towels and dish soap along with the foods and snacks you would like. Bringing your own food saves you time and money! There is only one major drawback to this cabin, the heater is located in the bedroom and it is very disturbing when it comes on while you trying to sleep! Turn off the heater when you go to sleep, if possible. Everything else in this cabin is wonderful and you can bring your pet too! :)

|Unfortunately this accommodation is far from what it claims to be...a RESORT. It's more like a trailer campground. The following are the list of items that future guests should know what we encounter on our stay at Cabin #15||1. It claim to offer full kitchen. There are 8 plates, bowls, mugs and glasses. Cutlery. A set of pots and pans and utensils. That's it. |No knife or cutting board or can opener, colander or serving dishes. Owner said they don't provide. |(He did buy a new set of knives and can opener after we called)||2. The electricity went out for over 2 hours. We have to cook in the dark using flashlight. Thing is it's only our cabin, and not any others in the entire compound. |( They did come and fix it, but we were told not to use the microwave for the night and only a few lights)||3. The heater was so loud that we can only turn on for a short time so we can sleep. It is really ridiculous when we have read reviews from others of the same situation and nothing was done to make any changes||4. The futon sofa bed was broken. So we have to put the futon on the floor. We texted the owner but he did not even answer. I guess it was too much on one night. At this point we thought that he would move us to a different cabin.||4. The bathroom over the sink light was missing 2 light bulb and it was not even working. ( we decided not to even mentioned it to the owner)||5. The insinkerator was not working||6. The loft ceiling is really really low about 4 feet high so we have to kneel. Wish this was stated in their ad.|Because some of us had bad knees problem. ||7. Last but not least we were charge $48.00 more from booking.com ||From the list above we hope that they will make some kind of adjustments with the price. It's truly a big...

Hot, cramped, dirty, poorly maintained. HORRIBLE. Don’t understand the positive reviews. We stayed in cabin 11. Broken glass all around it outside. Mold in kitchen sink. Cupboards hanging off hinges. Doors rotting at the bottoms. Half the lightbulbs were burnt out or missing and no replacements. Tub/shower had dirty footprint and hair in it when we arrived. The beds are not real beds. The queen in the bedroom was just a box spring on a wooden platform. The 4 beds in the loft were really two mattresses and two box springs on the floor. All smoke alarms had no batteries! Garbage disposal had no rubber cover so when we turned it on, food sprayed up! The bedroom was so tiny and cramped only one person could walk in it at a time. Furniture was crappy. WiFi was crappy. The people in a neighboring cabin told the maintenance guy there was a dead rat in his cabin. His response: “At least it’s a dead one.” Oh, and these are not really cabins. They are little RVs dressed up to look like cabins, all close together so the place feels and sounds like a trailer park. Electricity went out our last night there. No onsite management. I think each unit is individually owned so there is variation. We called and asked for a refund the day we arrived and were refused, so we were stuck there. I can’t believe they are...
