CVS Pharmacy — Local services in South Lake Tahoe

Very unprofessional service at CVS store. This is the first time ever happen to me. I don’t remembered his name . who was working on date 2/23/2021 around 5:29 pm. He supposed to verifying a thermometer body heat scanner before pay . He came scanned his card and disappeared. All the items I have been scanned total of over $ 150 . The light was keep blinking asking for staff to verified item before pay. I just stranded there for 5-10 min and no one come. I saw a lady at one of the register if she can help me. She is nice and came over but she could not help me because it already assigned to him. She asked me to wait again. At that time I don’t want to wait for any longer. Bc the area seems to have lot allergens that cause my nose itching so just want to get out fast. OMG 😳 during Covid nobody want to stay in store for long time. I would not have any problem at any other time but i am very concern during Covid. I have a grandma 96 y.o and a mom just got cure from brain cancer 3 yrs ago so I don’t want to jeopardize their health so I left the store and very upset. It seemed to me he is so discriminated. I came to CVS stores at Huntington Beach many time and never have a problem. I guess he should not work at this job position if he was not willing to stand around the e scanner area. I received excellent service from the CVS Pharmacy near the Y on Emerald Bay Road in South Lake Tahoe. I am a member of Kaiser, but there are no Kaiser pharmacies near our vacation home in Tahoe. On two different occasions when I needed a prescription transferred by Kaiser to this pharmacy, the staff went the extra mile to follow up with Kaiser and keep in contact with me to update me on when the prescriptions would be available.
