This place is quite a hot-mess. We are very disappointed with our experience here mostly due to their close-minded, rude, and aggressive staff. We had a large religious organization rent out their halls and book a dozen rooms for four days and three nights. First red flag: Their airport shuttle took nearly an hour to pick us up from the airport after such a long exhausting trip, even with prior notice. Their shuttle drivers were more like “on-call” rather than sticking onto their scheduled rounds/trips to the airport. Second red flag: Our reserved rooms were given to other guests. We had to wait a long time and dispute our entire stay because the front desk and their whole management decided to gamble our reservations. It was already a massive hassle to check-in late at night just to find out we’d receive the incorrect room sizes and room assignments. Also, the staff had the audacity to project their uncalled-for attitude on us, their guests, to the point where some of us had to leave and just book at another hotel (DoubleTree—we highly recommend, by the way!). Third red flag: Our last minute-given rooms were so foul that they reeked various odors, things were broken/not working, and all the rooms lacked basic common cleanliness and organization. Our room did not even have appliances plugged in the wall that we had to do them ourselves, like the mini fridge! How ridiculous is that? Fourth red flag: Service was real slow and poor from the front staff all the way to the back staff. Mind you we were traveling from various distances. It is a shame that the staff here was not in sync and unaware of our group that they started stopping, ID-ing, and questioning our attendees even with their attires and tags representing our event. It is quite discriminatory how they treated us with so much judgement. Fifth red flag: They had refused and blocked half of us who booked rooms for four days and three nights to use their free breakfast privileges in the mornings because they [their front desk and management] had messed up all our room assignments and body count when we checked-in! Apparently, it was our problem to spend more money and get breakfast somewhere else because Best Western refused to acknowledge their mistakes? Wow. This entire entity needs a lot of “house cleaning” and restoration among their staff, management, and customer service, because this represents Best Western and San Francisco/Bay Area very badly. Frankly, we did not receive any apologies, reparations/incentives, nor further words from the employees here after our horrible experience. If they do not improve on these issues fast, then I do not see the point of this whole business running, but scam and be fraudulent. We will never book here again nor recommend this place to our friends and networks. Best Western Grosvenor has failed basic average...
Read moreExtremely rude and unhelpful front desk female named Inelda. She took her sweet long time laughing and talking with the guy in front of me while I was waiting in line with others. I waited patiently and when it was my turn, she started rushing me within 1 minute of finally having my turn and raised her voice and started yelling at me for calmly asking her a reasonable question about the costs. She continued with this loud bad attitude. She doesn't explain anything I had a question about such as the fee on the paper that I need to sign. She just accused me of arguing with her when she was the one who started being aggressive and yelling at me and threatening to charge me more creating an unnecessary extremely tensed and stressful situation. She rushed me to sign the paper and did not explain what the paper was for. I had to understand what I'm signing before I sign and she did not wait for me to finish. She was extremely dismissive and confrontational. During this whole time, she was loud and yelling. This is something I was not expecting from a hotel where you are suppose to relax. Mind you, when I first walked in to the hotel, I was in a very calm and happy mood until Inelda created this extremely aggressive, tensed, confrontational, stressful situation. She would cut me off while I'm speaking and yelled at me. She spoiled the experience with the extremely combative attitudes of hers. I was completely stressed and tensed after this. This left a really bad impression on the hotel and it felt like I was checking in to a ghetto high rate crime area because of Inelda's off putting and repulsive behavior. It surely was not worth the pay at this hotel to go through such a confrontation at front desk leaving me fuming. The tension she created could really be cut with a knife at the lobby area and breakfast area because she was that confrontational. It made everyone around feel uneasy in this location where you're suppose to relax. ||||Aside from the horrible experience at front desk, the white towels in the hotel room had stains on them. Some were yellow and red. ||||Breakfast was extremely cheap food. Bread, bananas, potatoes and eggs. Literally, no effort in breakfast. ||||This hotel is definitely...
