I Booked the room within a month advance for a high school 25 yr reunion I was coming in town to. When I arrived in the hotel and got to my room, I did a check. I removed the covers and found BLOOD on the sheets. And not a small stain either (small or big doesn’t matter) I couldn’t believe my eyes. So I went to the front desk and told a man by the name of Eric what I had found in the room. Eric brushed the issue off as if this type of thing happens all the time by replying: “well what do you want?” So I said I would just like a different room. He proceeded to tell me that they were sold out and either I could get some clean sheets put on the bed or I could just go somewhere else. Like I’m supposed to be comfortable with this room that clearly hadn’t been cleaned if they missed the sheets!! I left immediately. Pick a Motel 6 before staying here. Or at least until they get new management and ERIC isn’t there because he says he’s with the ownership and basically seems untouchable how he presented himself to me. Be...
Read moreA no frills hotel with kitchenette. The online room pics looked somewhat similar to Hilton Home2, so I thought I'd try it for the price, but alas it truly is much more on the budget side. You get what you pay for. The room I was given had basic furnishings, mismatched hangers, small stocked kitchenette, bathroom was simple, towels scratchy but clean. Thankfully the bed was also clean and comfortable. ||Do note there's NO breakfast, so if you want that, stay elsewhere or bring stuff in. The walls are thin, I heard TVs, thumping, clicking, plumbing, talking, etc all night, and despite being advertised as non-smoking the place smelled like cigarettes (in the elevator, halls, bathroom).||The check-in staff was very nice, but as a single woman traveler, I didn't feel truly safe. Feels more like an Extended Stay type place. It appears a good deal of construction or contract workers "reside" here (many trucks). I probably would...
Read moreIf I could I will give this place negative stars. Absolutely terrible experience at the Southfield location. Eric, the manager, seems to take pleasure in withholding deposits, showing complete disregard for customers. He was rude and utterly unprofessional. To make matters worse, I encountered a woman soliciting sexual advances, when I was with my girl which I reported to the him. Eric barely acknowledged the issue, dismissively saying he'd "look into it when he had time never giving me eye contact ." This place is not family-friendly at all—my girl and I felt unsafe and uncomfortable throughout our stay. With so many safer options available, I strongly advise families to avoid this location. It’s the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I will...
