I would not recommend this hotel. The people next door were smoking right outside their door and our room smelled like smoke as soon as we walked in. It was late and we didn't want to repack and try to get another room. The walls were very thin so we also heard everything next door and also above us (kids running, chairs scraping floors, doors slamming, etc.) Even worse, they were renovating the hotel(no one told us at check in nor was there anything on the website where we booked the same day.) Several doors down, the outside hotel room door was open with the latch holding it open. Smashed concrete was outside the door. ANYONE could have used the room off the streets, or at least used bathroom, other facilities. Our car was parked right outside this room because the spot in front of our room was handicap. I did not feel safe at all going to the car to retrieve luggage. There was a large shipping container 10 feet away with the door open as well. Anyone could be hiding in there as well as rodents attracted to the area. Just not safe and garbage piled in bins. We had traveled all day and checked in after 7 pm so all we wanted was a good nights rest and be off in the morning. The room rate was ridiculous for off season and when I complained at the desk in the morning, I was basically told "too bad". I have responded to several surveys about this stay (negative) and no one from the hotel seems to care. Might be good for a motorcyle rally group but certainly not...

A really nice best western/hotel to stay at. Extremely conveniently located right off I-90 for the traveler looking to rest their head. Reasonably priced and has a happy hour (that I didnt take advantage of, but I know the bar is attached to the hotel, very convenient).

The first floor has doors on the outside and inside which was the first I ever encountered, but really enjoyed. I visited in the summer, but I imagine in the winter that is very pleasant to be able to avoid the outdoors.

There was unfortunately Canadian wildfires occurring that made the air quality absolutely atrocious, so the pool was unusable as it was outside.

There was no vending machine which was a bummer when I was craving a late night snack, but lots of little markets nearby had I been desperate.

The restaurant right next to it was fabulous (reviewed separately but I would seriously recommend, you just walk right next door).

The rooms were pretty standard rooms, comfy bed, 4 pillows for the king bed.

The reasons for 1 star deduction: they ran out of milk at 7 am for breakfast service (they were going to get more, but still frustrating as we were leaving then), the rooms were not very sound proofed, I could hear other dogs barking easily, and there were bees EVERYWHERE. They got into our car, on the grill and just everywhere. Maybe the wildfire smoke was confusing them, but it was terrifying. The water pressure was barely adequate per my preferences.

Would...

Excellent customer service from all the staff. When we checked in the o ly room available with 2 queen beds was on the second floor. Due to health reasons, we needed a lower floor. We agreed to the 2nd floor anyway. The ne t day, they had a room available on the 1st floor and the staff volunteered to carry all our bags downstairs for us and stored them securely in the back room by the front deck. When the downstairs room was ready, they carried our bags to the new room. When we returned from sightseeing, all we had to do was collect the new keys and enter our room. Everyone on desk duty was kind and very helpful. Our room was in immaculate condition. The continental breakfast was top notch. Even the young lady who kept watch on the food was very helpful and friendly. She kept the food trays filled at all times as well as the fruit bowl. Tables were clean as was the entire dining room. Check in and Check out service was excellent! I would recommend this hotel 1000%! I can't just praise one employee because everyone was exceptionally outstanding! If in the area again, this is where...

Yes, there's someone at the front desk, and the staff is very helpful and is knowledgeable about the local area . The hotel rooms are clean and up-to-date and simple. The beds are comfortable, and the Keurig coffees are nice to have in the room for coffee. The breakfast is Continental is from 6 to 9:00 a.m, Inside the hotel is a small bar open - Monday through Saturday at 4:00 p.m.( it closes early if it doesn't get busy) I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

My favorite Best Western ever. We had stayed at a Best Western the night before (I won't name names) and it had seemed a little....tired. Ithad seen a few things. This one, however, seemed to be a hotel in its roaring 20' rather than it's waning 50's. I loved our room and the beds and the fact it didn't have an elevator. The breakfast was small but good. The waffle iron was adorable (see photos). Good place to stay.
