Locally owned, best meats, love the clearance veggies (typically .99- 1.99). BEST rotisserie chicken in Spearfish! Safeway and Walmart can NOT hold a candle to their chickens! (Best to call a day before for the rotisserie chickens because they sell out QUICK). Also the fresh prepared stuffed mushrooms are to die for! Also, very friendly and helpful staff! I was talking about my cat one day while buying some cat food and the cashier asked if I would like a paper bag for him to play in. I said “absolutely and thank you!” He’s still playing with his paper bag one week later…I love this store! Never shopping...

Prices are amazing and meat is stellar! The employees are friendly and helpful and you are greeted with a smile or a "may I help you?" (instead of employees avoiding eye contact) They carry some great "local" (South Dakota) and regional brands, like Dimock and Wooden Shoe, South Dakota kuchen, and spices. This small town grocery is so relaxing to shop at. If you go often, you'll get to know the cashiers. They have a little basket welcoming kids to have a snack while shopping.
