We spent a night at the Queen City Inn in late January while on a drive out west. Great little place! So clean! Newly remodeled! Comfy bed, hardwood floors, great bathroom; gorgeous kitchenette with full fridge; complimentary bag of local coffee, complete with grinder, so the coffee was extra good. Self check-in was easy with the code provided via email. We had typical January weather and the heat in the room made the room cozy and yet was easy to adjust.
Best of all, it's in Spearfish, so after driving all day, we could walk to local sports bar, have a burger and beer and watch the NFL playoffs. In the morning, there's a huge choice of coffee shops and The Spearfish Breakfast House that we could walk to.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Spearfish, and we contribute a lot of that enjoyment to The...

Bugs got in under the door. There were cobwebs and dirt next to the fridge. No table and chairs in the room. Nowhere to sit but the bed. I fell off the handicapped ramp. It had no rail and no clear marking where the ramp ended and became a step. Terrible place. We would never stay...
