Loved It!!
I was in Spokane Valley for business and looking for someplace new to stay. I have stayed in a few hotels in the area, and I found this hotel on my BonVoy iPhone app. It just happened so that on this visit the rates were really good compared to similar hotels in the area. I was staying three nights and wanted to be in a really good hotel. While looking at the photos and reviews I decided to take a chance on this hotel and booked it. The location itself was perfect as it was close to my customer and highways and close many shops and restaurants, which I thought was just what I needed.
Everything from the moment I checked in to the moment I left was an amazing experience. Everything in this hotel was beyond expectations. The check-in, the lobby the common areas inside and outside were fantastic. The grounds were meticulous, the fitness center was by far the best I've seen in the area. My room was impressive, it had everything a business traveller needs. The room was very well laid out, simple but modern, with space to move around, a very comfortable bed, a nice little kitchenette, immaculate bathrooms, a great workspace and the room was filled with USB and power outlets galore. I really liked the Smart TV and how easy it was to use. I was able to log in quickly to my Streaming services and when I was about to check out, there was a clear and easy use icon to clear history. The wifi signal was strong and steady, I don't think I dropped out once the whole time I was there, ad the hotel was busy.
The fitness center was impressive, all the equipment was newer and it had just the right amount of cardio machines, and cable station with all the attachments intact, plenty of free weights and accessories for a good workout. I had just a little difficulty finding it as it was located on the lower level of the hotel.
Breakfast was well worth the visit, carefully and easily load out food stations with an abundance of selections. all the items I had were fresh and great quality, the coffee was strong and the hot items were fresh and topped up when needed. There was so much to choose from and they changed the food daily to keep it interesting.
This was a great stay at a great Marriot property. I wish I had discovered it sooner. If the rates are as good as this trip, I will...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel for 2 nights using my dad’s points because I was stuck due to the weather. The room was big & no major complaints except the bathroom being dated & a bit dirty… |The biggest complaint is that while I was taking my service dog in training out to pee a guy who was also staying in the hotel pulled a gun on me & my dog! |It was 9pm at night Jan 17th 2024. I was outside letting my service dog in training go pee but the snow was deep & I didn't want to walk where he wanted to pee so I let him off leash with an Ecollar on only after I verified there was no one around since it was the back parking lot of the hotel. I’d say a good 10-15 min in my SDiT notified me there was someone behind me bc my back was facing the hotel while I was watching my SDiT. I turned around & this man had a gun pointed a me & then my SDiT. I recalled my SDiT who was no where near the man & had him sit right beside me… the man apologized to me saying he thought I was someone else & went inside the hotel using his keycard to get in. |I then went upstairs to tell my friends of this & they said to report it. So I went to the front desk & reported it & explained the situation. Then out of the CLOSED bar the man who pointed a gun at me came out holding 3 beers yelling he thought my SDiT was going to attack him & then he ran off… The night front desk worker was baffled because he didn’t even know there was anyone in the bar area bc the door was closed & lights were off. So clearly this man was stealing booze. What shocked me was police weren’t called. Even more so when in the morning when I asked the new front desk staff if they were informed of what happened & they weren’t. They acted like they cared & got the manager & GM involved. Told the night front desk worker to come in to try & identify the man. I told them look at the cameras in the parking lot or in the check in area… there are no camera's. I asked if they could see who used the key cards from 9pm-9:30pm at that specific door… they said they can’t… |So pretty much nothing was done at all. I wasn’t compensated. My father who paid for my stay wasn’t compensated. |They never found the man who pointed a gun at me. |Honestly I’d never stay at that Marriott again bc of how this...
