Generally I am the person that writes 5 star reviews and not complaint ones, but seeing as I did write a 5 star review 4 years ago, I decided to share my current thoughts on this business. I have shopped here for 4 years, and sold here for 4 years as well. Typically I only sell our big box store brands here and save our more expensive small shop brands for BST or marketplace, but I've not had as much time since baby 3 and decided to give it a go, since I was told that they pay 30% cash for what they price things at, and they do, in fact, price small shops much much higher than big box ($10-25 an item). I made a box a few months back and brought it in but was offered very little for the amount of things in it especially small shop brands, and was told the reasoning was "It was mixed". So I took it all home and didn't sell anything. I decided to try one more time this week but made two appointments. On the first appointment I took a bin of big box store brands and was paid $87 for 54 items. No problem it was what I expected. On the second appointment I took only Small shop brands (most were in season too). I was offered $106 for 54 items... if we do the math here that is $1.96 an item... for brands that Sweet Repeat sells for $10-25 an item!!! (I do shop here too, I am willing to pay that for these brands...). I called her out on it in messaging telling here that isn't remotely close to 30% pay out and she said it is... I guess my actual math doesn't math with her math. Either way. I told her I would not be selling any of it and would pick it all up. Which I did. I live in Post Falls. I drove to and from Sweet Repeat three times this week to sell her items because I believed she would pay decently based on her prices... but no. I feel like I was completely deceived and she was completely dishonest with me. She did not bother replying to my messages about how the math doesn't work out which was more frustrating, because she knows I wrote the truth. Over the past 4 years as they have grown and changed, I have done my best to honor their local business, buy my Christmas gifts, send friends to sell and buy, etc. I love the new item sections and all the natural options, but I just can't do that anymore and will take my business elsewhere. It has become much too greedy. Prices are much higher than they used to be, and the payout to sell is so much lower. I hope that by writing this review that they may reconsider their ways and make changes...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent there for my granddaughters formula. It's set up very cute. Looks higher end for a resale store. Live on the Northside it's far into the valley. Didnt just want to seem like a bum and grab the formula and split, so we looked around. The lady working seemed agitated and we were the only ones in the store. I asked if they happen to have any spider man or hulk summer shirts or swim trunks. The worker said not sure how "SHE" has it set up on here. Walked us over to the size I needed and said to look here. Went back to the register and waited. Decent quality clothes, a bit higher than once upon a child. Love the community bin idea. Kinda far to go for 2 sample sized cans and a 10 dollar pair of swim trunks. If I lived closer I'd go in once a week for sure and spend some $$$ to get...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat place to buy and sell gently used children's and maternity clothing and gear. Friendly folks, very community oriented. I like that they have a display up by the door where folks in need can take diapers/formula/other donated goods. And those of us with extra diapers in the wrong sizes can donate them and know they'll go to good use. I've sold stuff here--it has to be fairly new and in quite good condition to be accepted, just FYI. Things they don't accept can be donated if you choose. The fact that they're picky translates into a store full of good quality items in great second-hand shape, some of them new with tags or practically unused, for a fraction of the...
