Absolutely terrible. Without a doubt the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I realize for the price point I’m not going to get the Hilton but I don’t think a clean room is too much to ask for. Blood stains on sheets, urine soaked mattress, long black hair literally covering every linen, sheet, pillow, and towel. Dirty floors, graffiti in the bathroom, the list goes on and on. My wife and I used Expedia for our weeklong trip and made the unfortunate error of choosing this hotel to stay at. We checked out within 30 minutes of checking in due to sheer disgust. The employee showed us 2 other rooms and dare I say our room was actually the nicest of the 3 which is disturbing to say the least. Manager absolutely refused to refund our money despite not staying there. Charged us the whole 4 nights despite checking out within 30 minutes of arrival. I would highly recommend Knott’s Berry Farm. I was able to book 4 nights there for only $125 more total. MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT. I added some pictures to Google to show what awaits you. While some may be hard to see I assure you the mattresses are absolutely disgusting and completely covered in various bodily fluid and hairs. Even some leftover hair from the previous tenant in the bathroom shower. Wish I had taken even more because this description and those pictures unfortunately does not do this hotel justice for how ghetto the place really is. Management didn’t seem to care at all when I explained. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Read moreI rented two rooms regardless of the reviews because the pictures looked nice (which I know was naive of me) and let me tell you, looks can be deceiving!! In one room there was hair on the bed, trash on the floor broken drain in the sink stains on the shower curtains, a door that doesnt properly close and the worst part of all, a broken toilet. When I complained about the toilet someone came to supposedly fix it but, it still didnt work. They didnt test it out so by the time I realized it was still broken was at 3am. In the other room it was in much better shape but the t.v didnt work an there was also a broken door .
In the morning I went to talk to the manager to complain, he said there was nothing that could be done because I purchased the hotel from a different company which was Hotels.com. I proceeded to tell them I will never stay there again; they offered me a free room in the future, which I obviously denied. I was only refunded $20.
One thing I forgot to mention was that the woman I was talking to which I believe is the manager/owners daughter(who started talking for him during our conversation), kept mentioning that she hopes I can leave a better review when I was offered the free night stay in the future and also when I was given the $20. I've always been one to write reviews on places that I go to whether good or bad. Read moreI booked a reservation through Vio.com for The Dixie Orange County Hotel (11632 Beach Blvd, Stanton, CA) on September 19th, 2025. I was assigned Room 109.
Immediately upon entry, the room was INFESTED with cockroaches. The infestation was so severe that the room was uninhabitable. When I requested a refund, the hotel staff refused and falsely reported to Vio.com that I declined another room. This is not true.
Additionally, the staff provided conflicting cash deposit quotes ($20 from one employee, then $40 from another) and behaved in a highly unprofessional manner. As the female manager was eating some pastry feeding her fat face. I also observed suspicious activity at the front desk suggesting unsafe and potentially illegal practices, which raises serious concerns about guest safety.
The room being uninhabitable (health code violation).
Misrepresentation by the hotel to both myself and Vio.com.
Breach of basic consumer protection standards.
i escalated my complaint to the Orange County Health Department, District Attorney’s Consumer Protection Unit, the California Department of Consumer Affairs, I.C.E. and the BBB — all of whom are already being notified.
Crooked Managers its a shame because the owner is actually a good guy... Damn...
