This Home Depot trip was great! I really appreciated the great customer service! It happend that I had to go at about 8:40 pm and they close at 9 pm. I needed to repair a wall in the front lobby of a business that had water damage, and had to get drywall, wall mud, tape, etc.. and all of the employees that helped me were fantastic! I was never rushed and didn't feel like they were pushing me out the door at anytime. I was using a business account without their physical card on me. this requires they call the owner to verify the materials I'd purchased which meant more time before they could go home. The Customer Service girl, I should have gotten her name, was all smiles and patience with the obvious inconvenience I had caused her. We finished the transaction and bid farewell. The service was like we rarely get to see anymore. The Covid Protocols were in place and all of the employees wore masks and used social distancing as required. The store was clean and stocked well. Aisles were neat and organized making it easy to find everything that was needed in about 15 minutes. If you. are in the Stanton area and need a Home Depot this is the place to go for everything you need with the added bonus of great customer service! They're at Beach Blvd. / Chapman in the south/west corner shopping center. I think their hours are M - Sat 7:00am - 9:00pm and Sun 8:00am -...
Read moreThey never have any staff that can answer technical questions . It is so frustrating that the most information you can get is the products that are in store or online. They have lost so many sales for products just because no one could answer a question. Recently it was thermostats after a half hour of waiting the young man told me he did not know. Reminded me of Home Depot return policy which I am well aware of and have my share of store credit. This is at all the stores. . Tonight it was easy I went in got the part I needed and did not ask any questions or waste time waiting.
It is a virtual world why can’t there’s be An associate plumber who can answer questions because he was a plumber or electrician or landscaper . He can handle several stores in the area and can have access to a video catalog that he can refer people to and they can get questions answered in the store because they have access to information videos . I know we have you tube and that’s what I do but it can be time consuming and anxious if you can not find the product identical to yours. Imagine the data a business can collect on local purchasing and anticipate trends and problems. I love Home Depot but stocking everything does not mean you are...
Read moreI ordered something online and put it for curbside pickup. When I went to pick it up, I called and told them the app was not working and what spot I was in. The employee asked for my order number I gave it to her and she said someone would be right out with my order. A guy came out with my one thing and asked for my ID before he would give me the one thing I just gave the lady over the phone the order number for. MY ID REALLY!!? I could understand my email that shows prof, or the order number again and how could I have even lied about that when I just talked to the lady on the phone and confirmed it was my order. JUST BULL, if you know what I mean. I believe he did not think it was my order but really all for a 10-dollar toilet paper holder!!!!??? Home Depot you have got to get better protocol and do better than that. I have never been asked for my ID when picking up an order before especially and I called in and gave an order number like how could I fake that!!!??? This is why I don't shop at stores in bad areas because employees always think someone is trying to steal or something bad but the online app sent my order there not to the one by my house which is nicer...
