I have two favorite places when I want a REALLY GREAT BURGER!! The first place is Steak N Shake, but if I want a hamburger, fries and soda pop, then I go to Five Guys!! Five Guys not begins cooking your order AFTER you place your order, unlike many fast food places (and yea I am talking to you McDonalds and Burger King! But Five Guys also begins cooking your F french fries after you place your order! I mean just imagine this concept.... first off, reaching into your bag for a tasty french fry and instead of discovering that your french fry container is NOT only partially full, instead not only is the container full, but you discover Five Guys actually added EXTRA fries so that it overflows the container and you have excessive HOT fries in the bag as well!! Now of course, having hot fresh fries overflowing in the brown paper bag, you actually see the person preparing your food intentionally pour the extra fresh fries into your bag! Yes, I know this sounds like a dream! Where you walk out (or sit at one of the tables and eat your food, and refill your soda pop from the fountain or just top it off before you leave at no additional charge. This may even be something you may have heard tales from your parents or even grandparents as they reminisce of days of old and far gone, where they took their best gal out for a burger at "Pop's" some mysterious burger joint where they pull into the parking lot and the food is delivered in a greasy paper bag. Yes hot fresh fries and freshly made hamburger or cheeseburger and so many fries the couple could share them and still be full when finished. Well, I remember those days, and remember taking my best gal to "Pop's"! But in modern times, Pop's has become a chain, where every franchise provides the exact same process, ensure that the customer receives hot fresh cooked when ordered food and instead of saving the extra fries cooked for that customer in some food warmer, pour the rest of the fries into their bag!! Well that is exactly what you receive at Five Guys!
Now, perhaps you might say, but Johnny, maybe that is just how Five Guys prepares your food that the particular franchise. Well, I can tell you that I have eaten at Five Guys all over Florida, Georgia, and all the way to the Great State of Texas, and every single time I went into a different Five Guys, it was exactly the same! Cooked fresh to order burgers, freshly cooked fries and the extra fries poured into the brown paper bag! Oh and being able to refill your drink whether it is freshly brewed tea or refilling your soda pop. The experience is exactly the same! Polite friendly staff and all!!
So next time you are wanting a great hamburger or cheeseburger with the fries and soda pop or without, stop by Five Guys and discover the experience not only I receive but every customer receives from this fantastic...
Read moreHonestly shocked to see all of these good reviews. This place was extremely underwhelming. 7$ for a single cheeseburger that had no flavor. 9$ for a double that looked like a single. Neither of which came with fries. 4$ for a small side of soggy fries (did feed 2 ) but at those prices for a tiny burger the fries should’ve been included. It all tasted extremely bland and we waited 30 minutes for our order to come out with 2 people in line before us. People behind our number got their giant bag of food before us. Then when I asked about our food after 30 minutes I got a rude attitude from the staff. Not to mention the condescending guy at the register because we didn’t understand their confusing menu. I should’ve listened to my boyfriend when he said let’s get our money back. Only reason I didn’t was because as a result of waiting so long we now had barely any time to get to our concert across the street. We were eating here to save money instead of eating at the concert. Might as well have eaten there may have been cheaper and tastier for what we got. Instead we left annoyed and with a stomach ache. Biggest waste of 20$, go down the street to McDonald’s you’ll be much...
Read moreThis place is a joke!! I am certainly insane for doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. I have ordered delivery from this store straight from the 5 guys website only 4 times. These are the results the 1st 3 times. 1)An hour late, 2) Supposedly the driver took the food & must've eaten it. So I never got it, & 3) The food was NEVER picked up from the store so I never got it. I vowed never to order delivery from them again. Unfortunately after not ordering delivery from 5 guys for over a year, my family convinced me to give them another shot & try it again. That was today & the 4th result ended with no delivery AGAIN. AFTER 20 minutes past the estimated delivery time, we called the store to be told that our food is still sitting at the store. Shame on me for listening to my family and trying to give them another shot. This experience has lost 5 guys an entire family of customers....
