Yesterday was a horrible day for me and my family all because of the tyrant security guard James and his superior Isnelly Esparza the director of the front office. James is the problem and the management handled it all wrong. Isnelly has no idea how to do her job and James needs to be fired immediately. it all started off with james yelling across the pool at people to get off the wall when he was 100 yards away making everyone in the pool feel awkward. his tone sounded like he was yelling at someone in the military, loud and agressive. after 10 times i finally got out of the pool and went to the front desk to complain about the situation. Isnelly went and talked to him and the yelling stopped. 30 minutes later james and 2 other guys came walking up to the pool where 20+ kids were playing basketball and completely removed the goal and walked off with it. mind you this is labor day weekend! me and ANOTHER guest stand up and say "where are you taking the goal?" james says "i told them to stop hanging on the rim and they didnt so were taking it" we said "when are you bringing it back?" james "were not" . we said "what about all the other kids who arent even playing right now, they dont get to play" "no" the other guest next to me talked to Isnelly and told her "this is wrong, im a travel agent and im going to be writing a negative review about this" thats when i start talking to Isnelly about why its wrong and then james walks up, i point to him and say "this guy doesnt need to be working here" that is when JAMES TOOK 2 STEPS DIRECTILY TOWARDS ME like he was going to fight me or something!! i took 2 steps toward him and then immediately Isnelly said "youre out of here you cant do that. and then the police come and isnelly tells the police that i was the one who stepped toward him even though I HAVE 4 EYE WITNESSES SAYING THAT JAMES STEPPED AT ME FIRST! THIS HAS TO STOP. this guy James is not in the right position, fire him or make him janitor he is not fit to work with the public hes too hostile and power hungry. Mind you im not even staying at the hotel, im just there visiting, they start questioning my grandma whos a disabled widow and THEN MAKE HER LEAVE THE PROPERTY BECAUSE SHE WOULDNT TELL MY NAME! Good evening Izzy Esparza, I would like to share some concerns while my stay at the woodlands resort. We checked in Monday Aug 5th about 7pm, and checked out Aug 7th about 730 early morning hours .
We have experienced a horrible stay that no other guest would be happy to hear or experience.
On Tuesday morning, we were out on a golf tournament with the family, and returned late evening after dinner. As We walked to our room , we came to the following:
The door was left open unlocked The towels had not been replenished with clean ones. I have a picture of the counter empty. The shower had a clog, I have a video of the shower full of water. The beds were left undone The AC was either not functioning well or the room was just very warm. I was under the impression that the resort had free parking; unfortunately I noticed an unauthorized charge to my Amex of $150
Please be aware that we had multiple valuable items left in the room, with an approximately total dollar value of $150.
I tried speaking with someone last night, Ruben,if I’m not mistaken was the managing member And again a front desk clerk this morning while checkout, but none seemed to care.
Therefore; I immediately requested someone with a higher ranking staff member. I was given your card.
We are very unhappy with our stay at the Woodlands Resort by Hilton.

Read moreI don't know where to start, but if you come across this please read this morning to anyone and everyone that wants to stay here. First off the quality of the room was horrible it felt like I walked to a motel 6 or something on the bad side of town, it felt cheap. Second when I booked online I got a really good deal that was about $50 off, for a king single. When I went there they gave us a double without mentioning it we walked into the room we were quite surprised and Anno yed that we had such a small bed to share or we would have to sleep separately. The AC in the room did not work, it would stay stuck on to the point where it was 40° by the time we woke up at 3:00 in the morning. Third the bar overcharged dramatically maybe even three times the amount it was around $50 for two single regular drinks nothing special. When we got room service for a cheesecake they charge us almost $40 for a single cheesecake it was only $15 but the fees is where they got us. Fourth whenever we checked out they charged us the difference in the savings we did by booking it online claiming that it is mandatory for them to do because we booked online so they got their money anyways instead of us saving some money. This place is absolutely predatory, everything is extremely overpriced without reason, the quality is very low as far as drinks food and the room. I advise anybody that wants to stay somewhere nice to just go to a hotel for $40 a night down the road it will be way better than this. I will never come back and I will make sure that anybody that mentions this place avoids it...
