I really love the food and the vibe of this place. LOVE how they have vegan mexican food! I drove a long way to come here so stayed awhile, but the music being loud made it a very, VERY uncomfortable experience. If you are prone to migraines or need a quiet place to get work done - this is not the place for you. I have noticed many cafes recently playing loud music with even louder thumping bass in small coffee shops. I asked them to turn down the music because I get migraines easily but the person told me they needed the music to drown out people talking, which made absolutely no sense. I think they turned up the music even after initially turning it down. I wish more places cared about the comfort of their customers, especially if they tell them that the music could potentially trigger a migraine. It would be great if we could return to a time when coffee shops weren't trying to have the music levels of clubs, and would take into consideration how migraines can be severely debilitating, so that the can be accommodating with the noise level that doesn't put customers at risk for a migraine episode. Otherwise its a great place to grab and go food and coffee. Will be a nice place to come to when the weather is less hot, since they have a...
Read moreI was told about Artisan by a dear friend and I’m SO grateful! This place is an absolute gem: milk alternatives, superfoods, in-house made syrups and vegan bites. High quality coffee you can taste! No burnt, bitter brews... and that’s coming from a coffee nerd. Artisan is also big on community and the environment. They host wellness events, markets, and a composting program. 10% off for bicycle riders, deals when you bring your own mug, etc. The lovely owner Heather is passionate about health and sustainability. It shows! The atmosphere is the cherry on top. There isn’t a cozier coffee shop in town. Soft couches + plants + local art + antique touches + faint classical music = unmatchable vibes. In summary, please do yourself a favor and visit this comfy little corner of paradise. My favorite order: hot oat milk latte with maple and reishi + a vegan gluten-free banana nut muffin. Favorite menu item: The Garden. Me and my dad come here several times a week. It’s our favorite coffee...
Read moreThis coffee shop is a HIDDEN GEM! They just opened up 2 months ago so they don't have their sign listed outside but they're at the right hand corner of the plaza left of Brother's Pizza Express!
Tons of parking in the plaza on a chill Sunday around 1pm. I needed caffeine for pre-workout so I decided to make a stop here and I couldn't be happier.
As soon as you walk through the door the atmosphere in the cafe is absolutely immaculate. Dimmed lighting, tons of live plants and gorgeous decorations. The vibe is very serene and peaceful. Very organized and clean space. The owner is so friendly and he's the one that makes the coffee.
I ordered the Alchemist which is a sweeter cinnamon flavor. They offer drinks infused with therapeutic mushrooms like reishi such as mine. First sip stole my heart.
I will be coming back here whenever I'm in the Woodlands area. Please support this wonderful, local business so their delicious coffee can stay for...
