Elite Inn & Suites South Holland I 94 — Hotel in Thornton Township

I booked a hotel room last night through hotels.com and had no problem with checking in. The next night I reserved a room through the same website,hotels.com and the same lady that checked me in says, we only book through Expedia. I showed her the itinerary I received through the email and she gets on the phone to call her manager, at least she acted as if she did, and tells me that her manager says that they only book through Expedia. I drove 25 minutes to this motel because it had good reviews but after experiencing what I did tonight, I have second thoughts about it because the customer service isn't too good. How is it that I can use a popular website to check into a motel with no problem one night and the next night, through the same person that checked me in the day before, they only go through Expedia but when I showed her the information on my phone, it says that they book through Expedia and hotels com. It even had their address and picture in the itinerary I received. I lost $80 because of what occurred and every dollar helps, especially in today's world. I just decided to stay at a motel 6 nearby, being able to check in...

My Advice is anyone that books here be very careful. I was there recently and in our room there was blood on the Bathroom Floor, Blood on a towel that was hanging up, the person that was with me found blood on their bed, plus there were spiders and other pest in there. The room in general was not clean. on the tv there was porn being shown, plus various other things, including we saw where there was continental breakfast, but when I went up there, I was told they did not have it at all, despite it being listed online. Be careful when booking to stay at this place and make sure you have an understanding on their room key deposits. When I first checked in I paid for my room using my debit card and then paid cash for the room key deposit the lady at the front desk at that time said it was $50 and that I would get it back when returning my key. I returned my key the next day forgot about my deposit and tried to resolve it the day after but all I got was complaint saying that I never returned no key and there wasn't no $50 key deposit.
