It was a long time since I have been here. I frequented the place back in the 90's when I was in college. I happened to be in the neighborhood, so I decided to swing in. I was surprised to see the place still looked the same which brought back a flood of memories. I chatted with the owner for a few minutes. Found out that the store is still in the family (4th generation owner). You just don't really see this anymore. I bought a shake and bought a bag of candy. The shakes and candy were as good as I remember. The service was as friendly and as good as I remember. If you're in the South Holland area, I recommend stopping in for a shake and a few pieces of candy. I need to make a note to stop in more...

Overpriced store bought candies. I heard sugar was bad for you anyways. if i wanted swedish fish i would go to walmart. the woman behind the counter was just standing there when she could be making home made sugar candies. no customers why not make real candy? i would bet money that before i walked in to the store you were on your phone and didnt wash your hands. i know for a fact you didnt wash your hands when i walked in. how serious are you taking these protocols that you dont even wash your hands when a customer walks in?
